I called this business and made an appointment for acupuncture for my back. The morning I walked in for my scheduled appointment, I noticed there was no one in the waiting room. There was no staff visible, and no patrons. I sat on the chairs to wait. I began filling out the new patient paperwork on a clipboard on the table in the waiting room thinking that a doctor would be seeing me soon. After 10 minutes, a woman came out of one of the smaller treatment rooms, looked at me, and then went back into another room. She did not even speak to me. I assumed she worked there. I finished the paperwork, now realizing that my appointment was running 15 minutes late and I had still had no contact with anyone who worked there. A woman came out of another room and asked if I was there to see a doctor. I said that yes, in fact I had an appointment. She got on her cell phone and called the doctor who wasn't even there! She asked me to please wait for 10 more minutes as the doctor was on his way. Very unprofessional, but I was in pain, so I waited. The first woman came out of the smaller room, and then disappeared into another small room. This was weird. Then, an older man walked into the waiting room, and walked himself right back into a small room. The woman who had asked me to wait came back out, I had now been sitting there, watching this revolving door of weird workers and patrons, for 30 minutes. She asked me to please wait for 15 more minutes. I told her that this was completely unprofessional. I had an appointment and the doctor wasn't even there. I told her that the whole scenario seemed more like a den of "happy endings" than a legitimate acupuncture/massage office. (I also notice that the photo they use for their Yelp reviews, does not seem to reflect any medical practice, but rather my implication.) I ripped my paperwork into shreds, took it with me and hightailed it out of there. Never again. I don't think it's even a real medical establishment, truly weird. I ended up driving into Fullerton to East West Medical Group who were amazing!! read more
