I had a great facial and eye brow waxing at Nadia's. The Guinot product line that Nadia offers has also yielded great results.

Our therapists, Rachel and Ron, provided exceptional personalized massages. It was actually my second time here, though it had been a few years since I came last. I'm happy to report I loved it just as much the second time! The service included: - A soak in a copper tub, complete with a private room, rose petals strewn everywhere, candles, a glass of champagne and a cupcake - A full body scrub, personal shower and body melt - A 60-minute massage, customized to you with essentials oils and pressure I loved my experience from start to finish! The spa is also well appointed with plenty of towels, secure lockers in the locker room, and a lounge with various flavored waters, teas, and comfy lounge chairs. The one issue here is parking -- there are only 4 spots in front which are taken quickly and are hard to get in and out of. I ubered so I wouldn't have to deal with that. If you're looking for a spa with excellent treatments and the chance to feel fully pampered, I definitely recommend checking out Larchmont Sanctuary Spa!

This is great if you want it quiet. Not a place you come with a bunch of friends that want to socialize. $3 validated parking for the Central Plaza parking garage right across from it. Came when they had 50% off admission which was $25 but seemed overpriced if you are a guy. Pros: -Unlimited Reishi mushroom tea. They also have water and coffee everywhere. -Large sized towel, robe, slippers in the locker. -3 jacuzzis (Himalayan salt, alkaline, citrus) , wet sauna (love that it's like a fog/mist and not shower sprayers!), dry sauna, and 3 specialized rooms (Infrared, salt, and mud room w small heated balls which was my favorite). All was great, but wish there was a cold pool in the women's area too. Cons/Room for improvement: -Though they now have a clothed, co-ed section, it is underwhelming. -The jacuzzi was warm, not hot. -There was a waterfall pool but was very shallow and also just warm. -Cold Plunge is a 5 ft. deep pool that had a rickety ladder to get in/out of. It would've been nice if it had a seat. -The wet and dry saunas were off and took a while to turn on, but never got hot. My guy friend gave feedback on the men's locker room: -no restroom inside -no sinks inside - no sit down showers which the women's side has If I were a guy, I wouldn't come just for the spa as it just feels like a side amenity. And definitely expensive even at $25.

I've tried a mix of classes and services -- from challenging Pilates to deeply relaxing yin sessions and sound baths -- and each one offers something a little different depending on what I need that day. I also love that the infrared sauna sessions are set up in your own private room, which makes the experience feel even more relaxing and personal. They also do a great job of creating a sense of community. From time to time, they host special weekend events with thoughtful touches like goodie bags and guest sponsors, which makes you feel really valued as a member. I've even joined one of their group hikes, which was such a fun way to connect outside the studio. They've also brought in guest instructors for things like dance and Zumba-style classes, which keeps things fresh and interesting. What really keeps me coming back is the overall experience. The space is always clean, calm, and beautifully maintained, and I love how easy it is to just show up -- mats, towels, and props are all provided. Parking in the back is also a huge plus, especially for LA. I've found myself telling friends about it and inviting them as my guests, which says a lot. It genuinely feels like a little wellness sanctuary, and I'm really glad I found this place.

My experience with Artha ended very poorly after several years of association with the facility…read more I received numerous promotional messages encouraging trial visits, so I attended both the West LA and Studio City locations to determine which classes and schedule worked best before committing to a long-term membership. This is a normal step for anyone evaluating a fitness or wellness membership. Later, management accused me of violating their policies simply for attending both locations and permanently revoked my access. The explanation provided was inconsistent with the promotional outreach they themselves sent encouraging trial participation. The situation escalated further when I accompanied a referred guest using a guest pass that had been given to me by another member. Instead of handling the matter professionally or discussing it in good faith, "Miguel" imposed a permanent ban and stated he would not correspond further. The lack of flexibility, unwillingness to review context, and overall tone from management was disappointing for a business that markets itself as a community-oriented wellness space. Potential members should carefully review all policies and be aware that enforcement may be strict and final regardless of circumstances.

When I walked up, the door was locked and a sign instructed me to text the number with my name and appointment time. I arrived around 2:15pm for my 2:30pm appointment since I wasn't sure where to go, and they replied quickly. Before starting, I had to fill out and sign two questionnaires. The front desk also asked if I wanted to pay before or after the service -- I politely let her know I prefer to pay after since I think it's best to make sure the service is good first. For anyone wondering: you can pay after, but note that credit cards have a 3% fee. They also accept Venmo, Cash App, or cash. I booked the package with a 1-hour massage + 1-hour organic facial for $155. The massage was great with no complaints at all. I requested medium pressure, and she delivered exactly that. The table was heated, which I loved. For the facial, I moved into another room for the microdermabrasion treatment. She took her time and used quality products. I left looking like a glazed doughnut in the best way, glowing and hydrated. Overall, I'd give this place a solid 4 stars. There's always room for improvement (mainly around the check-in process), but the services themselves were definitely worth it.

Where to begin: I recently visited this massage place and had quite a disappointing experience. To start, the room was in poor condition. The partition between rooms was just a flimsy folding wall, and the massage table had noticeable wear, especially around the face cradle. That alone made me a bit uncomfortable. Secondly, while I was looking for a firm, therapeutic massage, my masseuse, who was older, didn't provide the level of pressure I needed. I didn't feel comfortable speaking up about it, which is on me, but it did affect the experience. Additionally, there were a couple of really awkward moments. My masseuse actually passed gas twice during the session, which was uncomfortable. Also, I noticed that extra oil or liquid was being added without them actually going over to any pump or container. My head was near the lotion container, so I could tell they were somehow adding more from somewhere else, which just felt odd and not very professional. In the end, the whole experience was far from what I hoped for, especially on a mommy self care day.
