LONG VERSION: I started to see Elena ( and her adorable receptionist) Shirley) about two years ago with severe acne on my face. When I say severe, it's the very visible red+yellow boils from forehead to chin kind of severe. I was so ashamed to deal with this at age 31! I gave up hope and hid behind the increasing layers of foundations, which just made it worse. Elena is not your average esthetician: she's a Paramedical Esthetician, which means she specializes in repairing serious skin conditions. She does thorough extractions, which I only experienced in Europe and you heard how fabulous European women's skin is. Then, she does a peel and helps the healing with a mineral mask. Treatments last between 60-90 mins, depending how much time you need. Not your average "apply cream, wash it off, you're kicked out after 55 mins" facial. At the beginning, I saw her weekly and sometimes twice a week. It takes time for all the skin layers to purge everything. I use the products she gives me religiously: every morning and night. She puts the time into educating clients and does outstanding work every time. Now, I can go as much as 2-3 months between treatments, and I no longer worry about how my skin looks. It looks great and clear for most of the time, and without the use of foundation! You can only understand how major this is, when you experienced the shame and humiliation of having acne. I'm no longer ashamed to look people directly in their eyes. Elena gave my self-esteem and dignity back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It was so warm and smelled like lavender. The room was clean and had a very welcoming and chill vibe. Celis was very professional and asked me a few questions about my comfort, any requests and allergies. She then explained what was going to happen and then asked me if I had any questions or concerns. The basic facial was excellent. I can only describe it as a "car wash for your face- like I was getting my car detailed". Lol. Each step felt wonderful. Nothing harsh or unexpected. Celis has a very gentle touch and explained the process each step of the way. I was so relaxed I fell asleep several times. During the whole process I felt secure and very comfortable. Being in that position can be vulnerable for some but I throughly enjoyed the entire facial. My skin was glowing. I talked to Celis about future facials and we have discussed that my next visit will be more about targeting some areas of concern, looking at introducing some products into my regiment and getting on a regular facial schedule. I already can't wait till my next appointment. I have to say during the lash lift and tint. I was drifting in and out of sleep. Celis explained the process as she did each step but I was really, really relaxed. Totally comfortable during the procedure. Asian lashes are very straight and mine actually pointed down! I hated curling them and false eyelashes are a pain to me. I am extremely happy with my results. Celis gave me aftercare instructions and oil for my lashes for home maintenance.
