This was drafted since October, so some details may be out of date-…read more I actually found The Sugaring Suite by ways of a miracle, and was thrilled when I found out she opened her own place! Technically, I followed her from a previous establishment and when I called to find out when she was working, I was informed that she was no longer there, but to look up this business so I could see her on my own. I reached out to her back in late June, and wanted to make sure I found the correct person. I did, and kept in touch over the next couple months and finally made my first appointment. Location is not too far at all from the 101 for Topanga Canyon Blvd, and an easy turn onto Clarendon gets you right to the building. I did find it odd to see meters on what appears to be a residential street, but I honestly would only need 15-20 minutes. She came out to greet me, and led me back to her studio which was extremely clean, comfortable, and inviting. Since it was October at the time, there was some fun Halloween touches here and there. As expected, everything went great. Ashley was always one of the techs I specifically returned to, and I'm so glad she has her own place so she gets paid what she deserves. Come to think of it, I'm probably due to go back in now... I can highly recommend Ashley at her Sugaring Suite!

I have extremely sensitive skin and her sugar wax + aftercare products have never been an issue for me. I never considered side burns or my nose wax before until we talked about it and what an experience! Definitely think you should try it out - even if it's just once. Her online booking site is user friendly and super quick! She uses a touch screen for easy check out after your service. Sugared LA has been great. She's thorough, friendly, and also offers brow services which is really useful because it's like a two for one. I had a 8am weekday appt. too which also worked out nicely for me vs. having to squeeze it in late in the evening. She's located in the Regency Suites and sends instructions ahead of your appt. And also plenty of reminders so you don't forget. I would recommend her.

The place itself is clean and pink. I love the aesthetic, but the experience of getting a Brazilian wax was traumatizing. The esthetician, Natalie, was not gentle and seemed very upset when I needed to take breaks. She just kept going and telling me to hold my skin. Out of annoyance, she asked me several times if I wanted to continue (rolling her eyes). I understand that waxing is difficult but I think with it being a vulnerable experience (everything out in the open), it could've been handled with more caution. I was in pain the ENTIRE time, to the point of crying. The esthetician did not show any concern for the pain I was in. Even the way she sprinkled the powder was aggressive. I hope accountability is taken and reviewed. Overall, I don't see myself coming back here due to my experience. I hope to try sugaring at a place with more care and kindness.

The only thing is that the technician was relatively new when it comes to sugaring. I think with a little bit more experience, she'll be great. The table was disinfected after I was done, and the pink cover was replaced with a new clean one. I love how this place is so clean. I also got a 50% off on one of my waxes because I'm a first time client. Also, I got a scrub as a holiday gift! Yay!

I am a larger woman and her many many years of experience along with her speed made her the best. They have started offering a membership which is just slightly less expensive but since i only go every 6-8 weeks it was not worth paying.
