My experience- thankfully ending positively- was the result of being in a rush to finish a chaise I was constructing/upholstering; I ordered a set of legs on-line only to find them to be too large and over-hung my finished piece. Despite the years, the shed has held up beautifully, and we've been very happy with it. Michael recommended that I seal or paint the wooden ramp that came with the shed, but I never did and the weather and my sprinkler system did a number on it over the years. We recently reached out to Michael who showed us the new upgraded ramps he's making. They're made with Trex deck boards, are heavy duty, and thankfully never need sealing or painting. Nobody else is making such high-quality ramps. We ended up buying the upgraded ramp, which Michael installed with this team. It's a significant improvement over what we had, and we know it's going to last a long time. Beware of this company. We had our roof replaced in April 2021 by Suburban. At the beginning of…read moreFebruary 2022, we had a leak inside our house on 2 of our ceilings. After examining our crawl-space attic, we found we had water dripping in, icicles formed, crystallization, and black mold. We immediately called Suburban. The next morning 2 workers arrived and assessed the damage, never once acknowledging the mold. It was determined they would come back in 2 days (Monday) to replace the ridge vents. The owner sent a contractor on Monday to also assess the damage inside of our house but nothing could be done at this time until it was determined that the roof was no longer leaking. 6 days after this issue started, I reached out to the owner again only to receive a letter stating this was an act of mother nature and there was nothing more Suburban would do for us. Not once did the owner take the time to pick up the phone and speak with me -- how unprofessional! We live in Upstate NY, we are supposed to get ice and snow but we are not supposed to have inferior work performed when we hire a contractor. This has caused quite a problem in our house.
