Don't let the busy street or grimy exteriors of the buildings scare you away. The staff is very friendly and eager to serve their foods. I was prepared for waiting at the counter until our food was ready but we were lead to a rinky-dink table and actually served. And the patlican is credible enough, though the lamb in it is nothing like what you'd have in Turkiye (and the waiters don't speak Turkish). But the mezes are a catastrophe - a misguided tasteless hummus; a cacik that could break a fork; and a saltless oilless carrot salad in yogurt, all framing a desultory house salad.

We stayed at a hotel across from Oasis and decided to try this restaurant. It was the very first excellent meal we have had for a week. We plan to eat here once a day for the next 4 days and try their different meals. The Greek kabob was fantastic and the so tender. The waiter was an older gentleman and one of the nicer people we have met in France. He was very patient with our English and very helpful rather than rushing us and bringing us the wrong food. The price is beyond reasonable and we enjoyed it very much!
