The staff was super friendly and they gave us unlimited raspberry iced tea to drink the whole time. They have a dog that ran around the store too. May not be your thing but I had a blast playing with Thurston while I waited for my wifey. The girl that did my wife's nails, Gabriella, was really cool too. Very personable and professional. She also did a good job on the nails (so says the wife). The staff also went out of their way to recommend a place nearby to eat, and when we found out we were running late for a show we were going to see, TEASE even let us eat our take out inside the salon. Doubt my wife will ever drive 2.5 hrs to get her nails done here again, but if we're in the area, it's the only place she'll go now.

If walk-ins are no longer an option, then the website needs to be updated immediately to reflect that. Don't advertise something you're not actually offering. A true walk-in means accommodating customers between appointments or during gaps--not turning people away at the door. This wasn't just frustrating--it was a complete waste of time and money, especially with the cost of gas. Do better with your communication and set accurate expectations for your customers.

I decided on a whim to get my hair colored, thankfully melissa allowed me to come in same day. I…read moresent her pictures of what i wanted and told her that my hair was thick+long. I was going to go from natural hair color (brown) to Denim (Washed out blue, ombre). I was told it would be half their normal price since i was a new customer, so it ended up being just over 100$ (normally over 200$) She initially stated it would take 2 hours, which ended up being 4, which i understand. The process was well and good, it was my first time having my hair colored so i do not have much to go on for experience. We got finished, it was not anything like i had asked for, but i am flexible and i still liked the final result even it wasnt anywhere near what i had asked for. Melissa informed me that i needed to wait 2 days before washing and to be sure to use color-safe shampoo and conditioner. I ended up waiting almost 3 days, but this point my blue hair had turned more aqua. I washed it as instructed, and now my hair is a very ugly swamp-green, and is patchy in areas where the hair wasnt bleached at all. The hair line is pure bright vivid blue where the bleach got the most action. I contacted the owner and stated my concern, to which i was told it would cost 225$ to fix correctly, or she could just add more blue for 70$ (which would not fix the issue) I contacted now 4 other salons around the area and was told that the process that was done was no where near what should have happened, and that something that drastically bad in color would have been free for them to fix. I voiced my final concern with the owner to see if she would be willing to fix the issue, to which she promptly told me that i had 'agreed' to color at the end of the 4 hours with her. Even though less than 72 hours later the color completely turned to a nasty green. Needless to say i am very irate, and will be taking all my future business elsewhere, and informing friends to stay clear.
