We stopped by this nail spa to see if they could fit us in, and they did (to our delight). Not only were the workers incredibly kind, they were funny too. We had hoped to make it a great day, but unfortunately our experience at Elite Nails in Staunton was very disappointing. About a month ago, I was told they host private bridal parties and that you can reserve the salon for a set time, bring food and drinks, and have staff available for services. I confirmed this several times in advance and reserved the time for our group. When we arrived, the salon was packed with regular customers and clearly understaffed. They tossed a towel on a table for our food and drinks, but there was no real setup for the party. Children of the staff were running around the salon and riding scooters back and forth, which made the atmosphere chaotic and unprofessional. The staff seemed disorganized and at one point got into an argument with each other, using profanity in front of customers. Services were rushed, inconsistent, and sloppy. For example, nails were partially done, coats of polish were uneven, and many of us left with smudged or flawed polish. Despite paying over $100 each for services, the quality was far below expectations. Overall, it was an awful experience, and I do not recommend Elite Nails. read more

I highly recommend this salon! The staff are super friendly and they work with you to make sure you are getting exactly what you want! My nails look exactly like my inspo picture! I am disappointed with the results with my manicure. From the length not being even, to drawing blood on my pointer finger, and the dip powder wasn't applied evenly. Went in with a design in mind, not dead set on it, but I did show it to them, they said they'd do it. After being shaped for only 10 minutes, I managed to be in the salon for a total of 3.5 hours! The Mother did not want to do my design and instead of just telling me to pick something else, she rushed and completely BOTCHED the design, then sent the father over to do 2 nails on each hand that were a little more complex, and he admitted that he told a client he was doing at the time that he did NOT want to do my nails. $130 later and they came off in 2 days. Usually I love this place! I come here to get my nails, feet, and eyebrows done; however, today the dad (the older nail technician) got snippy with me. I was told it would be about 10 minutes before they could begin. So I decided to go to Tropical Smoothie and get a smooth. 5 minutes later, my friend who is getting her nails done starts blowing up my phone asking where I am. I tell her that I'm on my way back down. When I get there the father gives me this nasty look and says, "you know we close at 7". Looking at my watch seeing that it was 6:45. I don't even bother arguing and I walk out. As a person that works in customer service, I think the way he acted was very rude and unwelcoming. I was willing to spend almost 70 buck in that place tonight, but not with the way that he acted. I am highly disgusted! read more

*I would go back if I had an appointment with Tiffany. This is a warning against using another nail tech. Went and had an appointment with Jessica. Ended up with some man and I still have no idea what his name is. He was on his phone the whole time talking to people. Left halfway through doing my nails to go smoke. He was obviously a chronic smoker since his fingers and nails were clubbed. He never said a word to me other than to tell me how much it cost. For the nails: he just simply lobbed on the acrylics and put on so much! It was my first time ever getting acrylics so I had no idea what I was really looking for... but after I left I realized how bad the job was. He didn't file or shape my nails after putting on the acrylics, he put on two layers of super thick acrylic and then two layers of paint- which was really streaky. AND THEY HURT. I couldn't type. I couldn't write. I couldn't even scratch an itch because the tips were so thick that it just rubbed. And since he didn't shape my nails, they were lumpy and the shape uneven. And because they were so thick, after one week of growth there was a clear distinction between my acrylics and the new nail. My hair kept getting stuck in my nails if I ran my hand through my hair (making washing impossible). It was very frustrating. read more

Wasn't quite convinced the first time I came in. People getting bows on their nails isn't quite my style. But I now have to say this is the best nail shop around Staunton for pink and white. The quality lasts and they do a very careful job. The pink is a bit pinker than in would normally choose, but the quality is so good that I don't care. I won't go anywhere else now. read more

My friend tried to say something and was completely ignored. We finally just ended up walking out. I would not recommend. I didn't have a wait time and the service was nice. What I didn't like was how short the pedi was. My toes look like I did them myself. My nails are fine but they can be better. My eyebrows on the other hand is a mess still got wax on them she didn't pluck but one side and that's a no no. Not only did I wait almost 3 and 1/2 hours to get my nails done, but when the lady sat down to do my nails all she did was glue the tips on and then left me to go do another girls manicure and completely finished her nails and never came back. The two gentlemen that finished my nails were very nice and very quick about things. But I have never had an issue where I have acrylic nails for a week and they already start falling off. It's been a week since my nails have gotten done and three have already fallen off. I have not been rough with them, nor have I done anything that would cause them to fall off so quickly. I got a full set and was very happy with the results but after a week the nails started to pop off like press on nails i took a shower and while washing my hair one popped off and again while putting on my jacket! So i went back because all the nails started to lift off i sat in the chair and he begin to tell me they would have to charge me for each finger! Mind u i had just paid $50 for these nails that i had on for a week plus i tipped him smfh! He came up with every excuse of why they were falling off taking no responsibility at all. I've had my nails done lots of times and this has NEVER happened! I will never go there again! I lost my money and basically PAID FOR SOME EXPENSIVE ASS PRESS ON NAILS! Customer service goes a long way! All they had to do was fix my fucking nails and they would have had a happy returning TIPPING customer! I'm sorry but I have to give them 3 stars. As I am sitting here right now getting a pedicure by a girl with red hair, I enjoyed it. This place is a clean salon they all speak English. I do prefer to get a pedicure in peace but the older short lady kept yelling or screaming in her language.. Didn't sound good. The nasty dirty thing I seen when I used their restroom was that I seen the short older lady re washing the slippers and supply that other customer had already used. I'm pretty sure that is not sanitary. I will be back but I will definitely ask for new supply. Seen her take sippers out the trash and secretly bringing it to the back. Other than that I enjoyed my pedicure and the older daughter with purple hair gave me a very delicate design, LOVED IT! read more
