I had an appointment for a pedicure today and I think I received the spa pedicure. The girl doing the pedicure was very nice but was not good at pedicures. I wasn't told or asked for any specific type of pedicure or any options- which was fine. But there was no cuticle clipping, the selection of nail paint was poor and poorly organized, (random selections - about 5-8- on the sides of two seperate manicure tables and a bucket of some others which I rummaged through and happily found an OPI light pick that was 1/4 full) but the application of paint is what I was really dissatisfied with. I feel like I could have done a similar if not better job- which isn't very good and is why I like to pay someone else to do it. Then there was the bill $40. Overpriced for the old cracked leather chair and very basic pedicure. read more

Ive never had my hair done at this salon but Ive gone for a massage multiple times and each one has been fabulous! Ambiance of the room is great, nice relaxing music, custom massages, nice therapists, hot towels by request, etc. Love this place! I had a classic spa pedicure today. It was nothing over the top, but I did receive a light foot massage which is always nice. The service was good and the staff was pleasant. N Salon and Spa does have a whirlpool pedicure chair which always better than a regular chair. Lots of OPI nail varnishes to choose from (mostly pinks). I certainly think I will go back. read more

After a recent move to Sumter, I believe it keeping my business in the town I live in. I'd heard this was the best salon in town. I had a picture of the cut and color I wanted. I am very knowledgeable about my own hair and I know a bit about cutting. Bottom line. The stylist ruined my hair. She screwed up my cut and my hair was a very brassy orange. I went to her the next day to see if she could fix the jacked hair cut and it went from bad to worse. I would never go to this salon again and would never recommend it to anyone. read more

I moved to Sumter not quite a year ago and have been to this salon twice. Both times Gabby was my stylist. The first time, the results were not what I asked her to do, but I know it's difficult to get used to a new stylist and vice versa, so I thought I'd try again. Yesterday I made sure I was much better prepared. I went in knowing exactly which colors I needed her to use, a picture of myself with the cut I wanted, and with exact instructions using verbiage specific to the industry given to me by the stylist I used for the last 10 years. When I relayed my requests, Gabby looked at me like she had no idea what I was talking about. She ended up having to color my hair twice, though I think that was due to using a different brand of color, so not her fault. After coloring, there were splotches of dye all around my face. Another stylist tried to clean it off for me, and Gabby snapped that she would fix it when she was done. My cut was a disaster. I showed the picture of what my bangs should look like, but ended up telling her to stop cutting because the results were so different from what I asked her to do. I requested that she layer the top of my hair but only trim the bottom half and then blend the sections. She did trim the ends, but did not follow any of my other instructions, then she removed the cape and said she was done. I ended up leaving with half of my hair still damp, dye all around the edges of my face, and the cut wasn't anywhere close to what I requested. I ended up calling after I left to request that someone else fix the cut today and was told everyone was too busy. I asked how the situation could get resolved, then, and the receptionist said she could probably leave a note for someone to possibly call me back next week. She was unwilling to give an answer as to who would call back or when. There are a couple of stylists in the shop who seem very knowledgeable and friendly, but I'm hesitant to go back and give money to a shop with someone so obviously in need of support and not receiving it (Gabby) and such poor customer service (the receptionist). read more
