I called a couple places to get estimates for a topographical survey done of my house. One of the big name companies I called took a couple days to get back to me and said I could book an appointment for a couple months out. His price was about double what Neil was charging. No thanks. Neil got back to me right away and I got on his calendar with just a much shorter wait time. He arrived right on time and he and his assistant got straight to work. Neil and his team are VERY professional!!! I found him while walking around our neighborhood and he was doing another job for someone in town. He is very personable and professional. Neil is literally the best! When I first started searching for a surveyor in 2017, Neil was the first one I called and I hired him immediately. Not only are his prices reasonable, he is responsive, timely, and very very organized. Submitted paper work and plans 3 weeks ago. They stated they would get back with an estimate in 7-10 business days. Spoke with Kristine on 10th day she asked for more time. Gave them more time and they just got back to me today asking for what kind of survey I needed to get done. Seriously you have the work for so long and you're barely trying to figure out what kind of survey I need to get done? Kristine was very rude and unprofessional. She said she's the manager of the office and she thinks she knows what she's doing. I asked to speak with the owner and she said he's not here and asked me to call back. They wasted so much of my time and I got nothing done at the end. I am planning to report them to the BBB as well for unprofessionalism and delay. Replaying back to your message Christine. I just saw that you are his wife. Now I see why you got an attitude. Secondly, my husband back in 8/6 when you said okay to send you the plans. We have given you the information of what kind of survey we need over the phone. You have lost that info or didn't not even to bother to listen to us when we stated what kind of survey we needed WHO KNOWS. And it's NOT ABOUT THE MONEY AT THIS POINT. it's about your attitude and I called couple times that you have received my emails and you did not bother to ask for my last name. So I am not sure how that counts as you being on top of your job. Why not one time in the 3 times I called you didn't ask for that information? You can let me know because I would love to hear. Just like most people, I started my process by getting a few quotes from local LA surveyors soon after purchasing a residential property. Not only was Neil's quote the lowest, but his responsiveness, friendliness, and grasp of the situation far exceeded the other surveyors I contacted. It was obvious to me from the get-go that Neil possessed a keen and precise intelligence, coupled with a professionalism that thoroughly impressed me. Can't say enough good things about Neil. He and his employee came out to our house when they said they would. They were friendly and answered any questions I had. the price was very reasonable. I had a boundary survey and a topo map made, and it was super detailed. A few months later I needed a small update to the map and he made the updates without charge and sent me the update promptly. This is a follow up. I received the preliminary report the following day of the survey. It was very concise and detailed, showing all the markers.
