I had a sudden super dead battery in my car so I got my trusty jump box that was not fully charged to save the day, not because it was not juiced enough to start my dead car. I called this place for a road side service jump start and I was told $45 plus tax 30 minutes maybe an hour so I say ok. The 60 minute max mark has come and gone so I call them and I was told it's still on the run board, nobody on the way yet so I canceled the service. When your stranded and late for work a realistic service time is expected because other companies are out there who live up to the service time. Do not call this towing agency if you want your vehicle picked up in a reasonable amount of time. I waited 6+ hours for them to come get my car and take it and me to the repair shop. When I called they said they were a little backed up and it would be 2-3 hours. That worked with my time frame so it wasn't a big deal. I called after 3.5 hours and they said another 2-3 hours. After another 3 hours I called again and they said that they there was someone else ahead of me and that they couldn't tell me when they would be there. They also made a point to tell me that they tow for 10 police agencies and that they take priority over stranded people. There was zero empathy. If they had told me it would be 6+ hours I would've called a different company. Never using them again. read more

I've had a few vehicles towed by these people. Never a good situation. Always extra fees for winching skis straps etc... winching? How else do you load it? Flat bed service premium charge? I didn't request that service. It would have been better if they 2 wheel towed it anyway! One time it went in fine and came out with the battery upside down (what the?) And a hole in the radiator hose that cost me the engine and car. Another car had the clock flashing when retrieved which only happens if the battery is removed for an extended period of time. I asked and they denied it. On another occasion I was hit by a car on my vw trike. The frame was snapped in half and laying on its side. I estimate a half hour realignment and weld to fix it. When I got it out it was in a pile. Seriously it looked like they dumped it off the side of the truck or maybe consolidated it with the front end loader they use to move cars around. Regardless it went from a half hour of welding to requiring a new starter motor mounts forks seat frame repairs oil pressure switch which leaked costing me the motor with a thrown rod. After that they had a motorcycle which was uneventful except for they charged for using straps to hold it down. Same day retrieval 200 bucks! They have my van now and are charging for winching 308 for same day retrieval!?!?!? It was in an empty flat parking lot. The ignition was removed previously so they claimed that was why. I said what there is no shift or steering lock and that makes it more challenging how? If you can avoid them do if you get towed by the city or the law I'm truly sorry. Good luck getting it back and try to inspect it before you do it might not be worth what they charge to get it out. read more

Bad customer service and super expensive very slow disappointing behavior...

This tow truck driver was honestly the highlight of my day (Who knew?!). I was recently in a wreck on the interstate and had no idea what to do. The officer on scene called this company to come get my car (and me) off the side of the road. The driver was very professional, calmed me down, and got me exactly where I needed to go safely and quickly. They billed the dealership for the tow, so it could all go through my insurance at once. Very helpful in a stressful situation. The driver told me had been doing this for 44 years, and the experience was definitely appreciated today. Thank you! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. An N&S tower driver stole money out of my vehicle. I was involved in a 4 car accident that wasn't my fault. Unfortunately, my car was damaged and could not be driven. My insurance company contacted N & S towing to tow my car to a body shop. N&S came and picked up my car, while I arranged a ride to go to the shop. I arrived to the body shop not long after my car was dropped off, and no one had been in my car yet. I went into my car to grab some cash that I remembered was in my center console and it was gone. I contacted the towing company, and they said a manager would get back to me. I waited over a week, and did not receive a response. Today, I called them and they told me they spoke with their driver who denied it (of course) and that I would need to take my concerns to small claims court. Being that the court process is more expensive than what they stole, I'm going to let everyone know what a shady company they are. read more

Horrible customer service skills, the "manager" proceeded to argue with me when I asked her to stop being rude. (BBB.org rated this company F for FAIL) I had to call police to get my jeep out of their yard because they refused to release it to me because i came back a second time in one day to get it. The women in the office are on a power trip and incredibly condescending. They left my key turned in the ignition for three days and the battery was dead and they wouldn't even let me use their jump cables. They literally yelled at my boyfriend and I because we asked why they were being so rude. Called them for an emergency car unlock at around 6:30pm on a weeknight. I actually tried a couple other places first and they recommended N&S based on my location compared to theirs. Guy showed up on time, about 20 minutes, got the car open, and provided the receipt for AAA reimbursement. My driver arrived in about an hour after my call. He was kind and courteous and got my car running in less than 5 minutes. My understanding is that these people are contracted through the Milwaukee police Department. I pray that you never have an accident in Milwaukee that would require you to be towed to this place. They will waste your time, they will nickel and dime you every step of the way, you will have no say in it. My daughters car was towed there, she lives over an hour away. She called to see what would be needed to get her car picked up and towed to another location. She is told the license # and payment. I call to make payment- can't do over the phone. Ok- jump in the car drive 20 minutes to their place. They tell me they need a notarized letter or she must be there. I'm fine with following policy, but there were calls made prior and this was not made clear during any of them. I was rear ended was transported to the hospital by ambulance. N&S towed the car to their lot. While I was in the ER, my went to see the car, twice, and had no problems. Knowing the car was totalled, I wanted to check it one last time before the insurance company took possession. I walked into N&S and was amazed by how trashy the place was. The staff ignored me for a period of time before asking what I wanted. I explained that I needed to clean out my car prior to the insurance company towing it. They said, in none too nice of terms that I needed to have my title or proof of insurance with me before I would be allowed access to the car. If I could give zero stars I would. I was lied to about their business hours just so they can get an extra storage fee . They not only lied to me but then when I had my fiancé call to question about their hours they proceeded to deliver poor customer service. That's an understatement, they hung up on him multiple times and he was fair, polite and courteous. Not only that but I'm pretty sure the inside of the business is a health hazard. Their personal needle depositories were out where customers could see, filthy food dishes were sitting out and a child, looked like she should've been in school at 2 on a Monday afternoon, was running around barefoot and trying to eat paper towel and use cleaner without supervision. That's just the inside. Then out in the tow yard the lot was completely muddy, so had it been a rainy day I don't see how we would've got my vehicle towed out of there and it's covered in glass and parts from other vehicles--my tire even deflated so when they say 'no damage towing' it's a complete wash. Thing is though when I got into the car accident this was the only service that the police of West Allis would call because they are contracted with this company. If you're ever in an accident or in desperate need of a tow stay far, far, far away. Had I not been in the middle of an intersection I would've shopped around. I would never wished that on my worst enemy but I think they take advantage of people so I don't believe they deserve to be in business.. We wanted to pick up our van because we didn't know we could of call our own towing company (AAA). Our van slipped getting off the freeway ramp and hit the side rail. When we found out we could of use our AAA, it was too late, they took the van away already. We called right away to arrange a pick up but apparently the paperwork is not quite ready (whatever that means) and by the time it was done they were close for the evening and we have no choice but to pay for overnight storage too. read more

Less than one star. The reason for the tow was my fault, however this company is terribly ran. These people are incredibly rude. They towed my 2018 car and messed up the muffler. The business card says "damage free towing". But after looking into them online I found several other claims of damages. Both my husband and I have spoken to different people from the owner, manager to an employee and have gotten rude responses and conflicting stories as well as getting hung up on. Be prepared for way, way less than stellar service. We've filed a claim. read more
