I ordered the orange martini and asked if it was sweet - server said no... it came a couple mins later not full and extremely sweet. I asked her to pls fill the martini glass and use vodka to cut the sweet. Came back as palatable, albeit still sweet. Lunch came and the gumbo was excellent! Wife's shrimp po boy was on a bun, not a roll as expected, and was meh... lacked flavor. Still acceptable and came with an order of fries that was great. When the bill came I noticed the martini (14$) was on the bill as expected, but also had an addl 8$ for an extra shot. I asked what this was for and she said she added more Tito's, so I was charged. So now we have one full Tito's martini (still over sweet) for 22$. Wish I would have just returned the shitty drink and ordered a beer. When no bartender at place and servers need to make drinks this shit happens. Dumb move as we'll not ever go back. Lesson learned. Food is good, but stick with beer in this place.

We had incredible service with our waitress even bringing out a sample of their armadillo eggs to try! And of course we had to order a palmetto bug to try bc it is the same thing but with pimento cheese instead of cream cheese. Both were spot on and I highly recommend trying if you've never had these BBQ delicacies! Also I was lucky enough to try the carrot cake and it is literally the best I've ever had! I will be back soon!

For service, you order at the counter, they do bring your food to you, and you don't have to bus your table (I don't think)...I wasn't sure as I looked around for trash bins, so I asked the kind people at a nearby how to do that and they said that the restaurant does it. It was very very quick service which was great. Ambiance...It's clean, there's lots of parking, the servers are nice. The location is great. Exiting is a bit weird on the north of the building. If you're looking for old style (no pun intended - bare bones) traditional bbq with Cole slaw, baked beans, Mac and cheese, baked potato, cabbage/bacon, slices of plain bread, carrot cake, banana pudding, or ice cream, then you'll love it. Is it good, yes. Is it for me, eh, I don't think so. Will I give it another chance? Maybe, if someone I know loves it here, I will come with them. If it's just me, and given other choices in the area, probably not; I'm sorry. There just isn't enough choices for me to make it worth while, and that's okay; Timmy Jons BBQ is just...different and that makes it great.

Over the years, it has consistently delivered a wonderful, unique atmosphere that makes every visit feel a little more memorable than your typical meal out. Whether you're in the mood for something classic or a bit more creative, there's truly something for everyone. One of the things we appreciate most is how accommodating they are. We've dined there with groups of all sizes, and they handle large parties with ease while still making everyone feel welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, Kafe Kokopelli is a gem in Dade City--consistently great food, a warm atmosphere, and service that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

The place is charming, whimsical, and warmly decorated, with a fun atmosphere that makes lingering easy. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, just right for a long catch-up session. I paired it with a refreshing Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita, which balanced sweet, cool, and just enough kick to keep things interesting. Good food, lively vibe, and the kind of place where conversations stretch on happily. Exactly what we were hoping for.

I don't think I've ever had a bad beer at DCBH, which is no small feat given the wide range of styles they do. I like pale ales, particularly hazy IPAs, and they've had great ones--but they also have great wheat beers, and porters, and sours. There's usually a kumquat beer on the menu. It's great, too. Really. The interior is spacious and well-lit, and on days that the weather permits, the roll-up doors to the patio and sometimes to 7th Avenue are open. It's a great place to hang around with a beer and write, and probably a great place to hang around with a beer and actually be social, if you're the type who does that. The service is always friendly, fast, and generally above and beyond. Worth special note: DCBH has always had a restaurant counter that's a separate business, and they've on (I think) their third one, Uncle Fatty's. They're really solid, delivering not only pub staples but sometimes surprising specials; it's some of the best food I've had at any brewery. They need to be open later on Thursdays. So: it's good. Go there.

I'm SO GLAD I made that choice because this was a bad experience. We scheduled the date, set the menu ... and then Vivian canceled the day beforehand. We rescheduled and declined her offer for extra food to make it right, offering some grace since issues happen sometimes. On the 2nd attempt, she sent me a text the afternoon of the event to say she was "stuck in traffic," but her sous chef would get things started and she would be there in time to cook the dinner. She never showed up AT ALL that night. The sous chef said Vivian just had other events that conflicted with mine-- so apparently it was just poor planning. Her sous chef was very young, nice and hardworking. However, it was a lot for one person, without having the support person to plate & serve the food, clear the courses, etc. I pitched in to be nice and acted as our server, but for $1500, I definitely should not have had to! And more importantly, since she couldn't focus solely on cooking, she made some mistakes, such as inconsistent results in the temperature of the meat across the servings (some were great and others were overcooked) and cold, over-mashed potatoes that turned pasty/gummy. Vivian also forgot about the conversation we previously had about our dessert choice and had the girl make something different than what I chose. I made that dessert choice for a very specific reason and am frustrated by her lack of attention to detail, which is obviously a pattern. On top of Vivian's poor behavior with the 2nd "no show", when I gave her the feedback about the food at our event and told her that I was disappointed, she decided to ARGUE with me, rather than even apologizing. Apparently, she felt she knew exactly how everything tasted, based on a few pictures that the sous chef texted to her, so I was wrong. It was an inappropriate and unprofessional response, especially given the other mistakes that were made.
