Darren sold me a Unipro battery on Saturday (two days ago) and I asked him what the return policy would be if it does operate as expected. Darren said it was a week from purchase. I tried it the next day and realized the LED screen was not turning on. Came in on Monday to return it, and was told by someone that said they were the assistant manager that it could not be returned and the week return statement Darren has given me was not per store policy. The assistant manager also said that it could not be resold because I had opened the box in incorrectly. I asked if I could speak with Darren directly and the store assistant manager told me that it was not okay to disclose his schedule, which seems very odd. So not sure why this store would try to resell a defective product or allow for deceptive sales practices. Employees did not seem to be want to be held accountable and gaslit me into thinking I was in the wrong to ask for a replacement or refund. Don't shop here. Seems like the whole thing a scam. read more

This place is, hands down, my favorite vape shop. Not only do they have tons of cool stuff, the staff is super duper friendly, helpful, and all around awesome. I'm surrounded by vape places near my house but none of them carry the MiPod cartridges that I need, so I always end up calling random shops and driving out of my way just to get my refills. I know there are way more important things in life to complain about, but heck ..its annoying! I could go anywhere and buy a pack of cigarettes, I want to be able to go anywhere and buy my cartridges too! Then I happened upon Myxed up. It's not super close to home, but convenient on my way home from work and I couldn't be happier. I just wanna hang out with all the folks who work there every time I go in. I was immediately impressed by their huge selection and very friendly staff - Amanda was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to helping me pick out a new vape pen. They have a selection that dwarfs their competition. Also, they have a wonderful exchange policy for electronic items; if you buy a vape pen and it turns out to be defective, they'll happily exchange it (even if lightly used), so you can feel safe spending good money on nice stuff at Myxed Up. Great overall experience. We stumbled in when they were having a "More 20" party with free pizza and beer. We went in looking for a titanium mouth piece for a nectar collector $25 which they had in two sizes. They also had a wide range of titanium dabbers which is in my book a great thing. It was a a good experience yet frustrating as well. The employees were not very friendly and they were half as knowledgeable as I would expect. Prices were extremely expensive but can't really complain/. Most of the class was from Cali and or hand blown locally. Sorry, I want to like these guys because they have some cheapish stuff, but it's cheap for a reason. Literally EVERY single piece I have purchased here (drop down, male to female conversion, and two quartz nails) has broken within three weeks from temperature change. This is seriously pathetic. Quartz bangers should be advertised as half glass if they are, and I've never seen Quartz break because it got a little cold. I've wasted more money than I like to admit here. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and was disappointed with how I was treated by the female employee working. For reference she was vaping the entire time. I wasn't exactly sure what the size of the down stem I needed was and the employee was rude to me. "Well they only come in these two sizes so you are wrong" I then asked to get a torch and she was purposefully difficult when I was picking the color. I said yes I would like the red one you are holding, "oh this is orange you mean this one?" No the red one you are holding and so on. I'm polite and I knew what I wanted and was still treated like this. Get better employees please. read more

I kid you not, I once bought an organic lighter here for $1.99 and didn't beat the price somewhere else. The organic lighter actually worked for a looong time, to the point it still works today. I just went in here not long ago and I have to say I was certainly impressed by the selection, it's one of the widest I've seen in Denver. The wall of water pieces along the back is incredible, and has more choices than most other places combined. However, I found the customer service completely unbearable. Upon entering a lady greeted me and asked what I was looking for. I made it clear I wasn't looking to spend much; I was only replacing a couple of broken parts for my bong. Either the fact that I had only mentioned a single, $5 piece annoyed her or she was already in a sour mood that day, because she hurried me over to the counter and shoved the box of pieces at me. She acted agitated when I asked if they had a certain size, and I felt so rushed during the entire process that I was reluctant to ask for the other piece I was looking to replace, or even gaze around at what is really a remarkable selection of glass. I quickly bought the single, $5 item and left, feeling disappointed at the unremarkable treatment. I understand, $5 isn't very much, but its no reason to be treated so poorly. I literally had to say so your'e refusing to tell me the model of something you have in the store? Then she said let me put you on hold. I hung up, i'm looking to spend 200-300$ in the store and the girl on the phone is such a lazy stoner that she cant check the model of what I want for me? Employees here obviously aren't too concerned with making sales. Don't hire stoners to run the smoke shop. Or at least hire productive stoners to do it because you're losing money with whatever girl answered the phone today working there. Only difference is that this place overcharges for them. So-so staff who act annoyed that you stepped foot in their store. I have been shopping at myxed up for just over 10 years. I first started going to the location on Mexico where I met Rachel. She is awesome, extremely informative and willing to order something if it wasn't available on shelf. Always had great customer service. For the past 3 years or so I have been going to the Colfax location. As of today, they lost my business for good. I went in for an item and right away I was greater by a worker at which point he came over to help me right away. It turned out that they didn't have the item I needed on the shelf, so he checked in back, the item was there. He asked me to give him 10 minutes to get the item logged in to their system. Of course I had no issue waiting. However, after about 10-15 minutes of waiting, I turned around and realized that he had begun helping and checking out another customer. He had still not logged the item into the system and said he would after ringing them up. Excuse me? I ha e been here, was being helped, and then just got pushed to the side like an unwanted dinner plate. Ok... You lost my business. read more
