The vibe is lively and warm -- exactly what you'd expect from an authentic Greek spot in Oakleigh's Eaton Mall. There's a great buzz with plenty of chatter and energy, making it perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family. Whether you're seated indoors or outside, the atmosphere feels welcoming, relaxed, and social -- the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. Service was friendly and generally prompt, even on a busy night. Our food came out quickly, and the staff were attentive throughout the meal. While we've heard it can slow down during peak times, that wasn't our experience at all -- we felt well looked after. The food was the real standout. Greek classics like the gyro and souvlaki were packed with flavor, served in generous portions, and paired with super fresh pita bread. The mixed grill and meat skewers were juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The dips, especially the tzatziki, added a perfect creamy balance. Portions are hearty and satisfying -- come hungry. While not every dish was flawless, the overall quality and flavor easily made up for it. All in all, it's a fantastic spot for casual Greek food with solid service and a vibrant atmosphere. We'd absolutely return to try more from the menu.

We stopped for a bite to eat and nestled amongst the other diners. There was nothing around to say wait to be seated, but I thought I'd double check after we'd sat ourselves down. The team gave me a quick dismissive, it's fine we'll be over soon. It would appear the definition of soon can vary. But that aside, we ordered. And to be honest, then came another very long wait. I was a little disappointed with my order of calamari - I thought with it being a Greek establishment it would be delivered in the traditional style. But this was not to be (I should have checked). Having said that it was an enjoyable meal and I certainly got some assistance from Master 1 with the chips. He devoured the children's pancake and inhaled my chips - so he was happy. If you're not time poor this would be a great spot for a lazy lunch. But certainly not somewhere I'd take children due to the wait times. When going in to pay you get to admire their sweets and there is something in there to suit every sweet tooth. Enjoy.

I was looking forward to trying Mykonos because I'd heard it was really good and I love Greek food…read more When walking in, I thought we were in for a real treat because the restaurant decor is very authentic and looks just like I've seen places in Mykonos look. There's even a beautiful outdoor setting whereby you'd never know you were in Melbourne and not in Greece itself. There was initially a few issues with which table we were at. We shifted three times. Annoying. But the staff were friendly and took our orders correctly and the food came out in good timing. The pita bread that came out with the entree, however, was hard and almost stale. I didn't think to complain about it because I guess each place has their own recipe. When more pita bread came out with the main meal, it was softer and fresh. It made me think the entree pita was actually from the day before and they were getting rid of it. It was horrible. However, the tarama was delicious! I just slathered more of it onto the bread to compensate for the dry and stale taste. A big pet peeve of mine is when main meals come out while you're still going with entree. Such was the case here. You don't know where to put the current food and you feel rushed. I hate it and it was a big let down. The main portions are huge, so keep that in mind when ordering. The food was ok (their chips were INCREDIBLE). It wasn't bad, but just wasn't as tasty as other Greek restaurants. Overall, I would recommend it here if you're in the area and other places are full. If you want to have a good conversation with your friends/family etc, this may not be the place for you as they have live music as well and it made conversation quite difficult. In all honesty, I'm glad I've tried it here, but it's not my favourite and I feel it's never a good thing when the decor trumps the actual meal itself. Parking isn't too difficult, and pricing is reasonable for what you get, but for me, there are other restaurants I'd go back to sooner than returning here.
