The best and only thing that went well during our few months of rental was the sign up at the…read moreoffice. The manager was friendly, helpful, and paperwork was easy. After that we had multiple issues with signing up for auto pay and other questions. The local and corporate staff were never able to figure out the autopay and account set up. The local manager was completely absent and not helpful. We called several times over several weeks and dropped in to the office during business hours and couldn't reach him. And he never returned calls or emails either. If you need market rate older storage facility in town with zero customer service this is your place.

We did have an issue where someone broke into several units including ours they informed us quickly but not much was done about it, luckily we weren't missing anything of value and they replaced the locks, there are cameras but apparently they did not catch anything. Woods and trees on the back side make this a prime candidate for petty break ins. Fast forward a few years to 2020, we again needed a storage building they have a different property manager and he is the rudest person I have ever met, needless to say I took my business somewhere else and will never do business with these people again. Also the property manager is the only person you can talk to, getting to an owner is almost impossible by normal means.

When I walked into the office, I met with site manager Phillip Tripp. I waited 10 minutes for him to take a break from the back, very irritated that I was bothering him. Barked at me the entire time about rules and what happens if we don't pay our rental fees. I asked for a copy of their rules to review and discuss with my husband. He said I can read it but I can't take it with me. I asked why and his response "Because I said so". Should have known better. I went ahead and rented unit thinking I won't have to deal with him again. After renting and moving valuables in, it rained and our unit had water coming in about a foot and a half through the bottom of the door when closed. I called and he was out of town and his sister didn't know what to do and said it would have to wait until he returned the next week. After several calls and a month later never returned calls we had to move things out and put a guard up a foot and a half to preserve our things. Due to we don't want to deal with him anymore and bother person to have a civil conversation with. The facility has a major rat problem and we began to find food particles in the unit when removing things to put others in due to the water leakage when it rains. When doing that we were almost finished and he was coming in to park around 7pm and started barking "Move now" to my very laid back husband. Phillip is nasty rude unhappy individual. We only had three boxes left. Recovering from cancer treatment I can't move very quickly. All he had to do is ask politely and we would have gladly moved. All he did was keep barking ordering for us to move due to my moving too slowly He is a key example of giving the wrong people a little bit of power to compensate for their educational short comings. And no, he never gave us an opportunity to speak to him about the water when it rains. We had to buy tarps and over everything. Don't go here.

DO NOT USE THEM! All of my stuff was COVERED in pollen and there were two LIVE ROACHES on my…read morepictures. They told me they sprayed for bugs, and I had no idea pollen could get into the storage unit. Maybe I should have picked a climate-controlled place instead. Lesson learned! Also, they only take mailed-in checks, no auto debit. And, they won't give you any money back if you pay them by check then move out a few days later, even though your stuff was only in storage for a few days. And they're rather rude and unapologetic about it.

I had a trailer brake controller installed in California at a U-haul facility. It did not function…read morewell and it failed during a snow storm and almost caused me to get in an accident near Conway Arkansas. I slowly limped my vehicle into the U-haul in Little Rock where the manager upgraded my defective controller at no charge. My new system works very well and my advice to anyone is do not skimp on this type of system get the best. Because of the storm this manager slept in his store and was able to get me on my way for which I was extremely grateful.

Reserved a 26' truck 2 months ago and the day before they said they did not have it and the closest one was 90 miles away. Went with Penske who came through for us in 2 hours... More expensive, but how do you compare a company with no trucks to a company that follows through on trucks. While moving, passed another UHaul place in Little Rock and there were a dozen 26' trucks in there. Didn't want my business, I guess. I would suggest you stay way from U- Haul or should I say U-Can't-Haul... because we don't got no truck for you!
