My main motivation for visiting was the pools & lazy river, which absolutely delivered. The resort area was clean and sparkling, however if I had to be picky, the women's bathroom in the pool area could have definitely been checked and cleaned more often. The music playlist in the resort was perfect and upbeat with your classic party hits, and there was enough room/chairs/tables for all of the guests to enjoy a spot in the outdoor area (we were able to get lounge chairs right in front of the lazy river both days). I made my food/drinks/eats/dining reviews separately in respect to each restaurant in the Morongo that I ate at, which were all extremely positive! I absolutely loved the selection and range of options the Morongo had to offer when it comes to dining- check out my other reviews! The casino was admittedly very fun, and I am not big on gambling nor slot machine games. I found a few machines I loved playing and found the environment very enjoyable. Very nice selection and wide range of options in the casino area for everyone to enjoy! On top of that, I appreciated the hospitality and service of the employees and security at the Morongo, I felt safe and welcome and would absolutely love to return soon!!

Review regarding THE PINK FLAMINGO FRIDAYS…read more My friends and I have really enjoyed coming and enjoying the lazy river and drinks. I do think they need to make the hours a little longer 9pm to 1am in ny opinion. Overall, I enjoy the variety of music being played by the Dj. Usually the people I run into just want to have a great time and enjoy the pools and drinks. My friends and I rented a cabana one night and really enjoyed the experience so we invited more friends and rent a cabana the following Friday. So we arrived go through the check in process as usual. As the lifeguard walked us to the cabana, we walked past the number I was originally told I was booked for and I saw people in there and it was taped off still. In my mind I thought that was odd but I also don't work there. So I was like maybe they're getting people checked in. As the night go on. I notice a crowd of people and workers touching our stuff in the cabana so I approached them. I asked if I can ask them if I can help them. The staff in blue immediately started questioning me about booking and who is the name under. I gave them the information. They seem disorganized and that they did not want to ask the other people in the other cabana about the bookings especially after me explaining this is where we was put and I explained it was tapped off. It was either they double booked or someone was there that didn't belong. It didn't take me long to figure it out. I complained about the pizza at this time as well. They said they will bring us another. So we left the pizza in there. About hour later I asked our waitress and she said they were making a fresh one. Right before midnight I asked about the pizza again and now she said oh we are just gonna issue you a refund. Like girl what?!?! I've been starving waiting on fresh pizza that was not even coming like what's really going on. Last night was our 5th time coming so the quality of the pizza was based on previous times I have came. Then the waitress said to wait in the cabana for the supervisor to come speak with us. As were waiting the officer Alex Perez i believe his name was rushing us and called the front. He said that he was told because we were being "aggressive" that we need to go to the front and speak to the supervisor we all looked confused so we were like ok lets go. We speak to the supervisor and he was not aware. One thing I can say is that the officers may need racial and ethics training or a refresher. I find it strange they rushed all of one ethnic group out their cabanas but another ethnic group were still in the cabanas chilling and not being told to leave. I tried to go back to the cabana we were in to see if the receipt was in there so they can issue the refund and the officers were giving me a hard time mindwhile other people were just chilling in their cabana not being told to get out or anything. Literally the officer was flashing his light at us and standing at our cabana until we left but others were given the same treatment. I get it, people want to wrap up for the night and be off. But if Customer service was addressed when the issue was presented then we would've left promptly and not spend an extra 20-30 mins. Find people who want to work the overtime.

SO, i knock on his door and when he answers she just loses the rest of her mind! starts shouting at him like she's his upset girlfriend or something, waving her arms in the air and starts exclaiming that he needs to just get out!! it was april fools day so i just kind of stood there in shock assuming it had to be a f***ing joke right?! but nope. apparently when you OVERPAY for a room there you're also apparently consenting for this imbalanced individual to approach you whenever she deems fit to just make a damn fool of herself by just acting like ...there's not even a word for her kind of behavior! she stormed off, arms swinging thru the air and yelling whatever she was yelling... point to be made: this place probably gets pretty interesting on Halloween, and lord knows it you're looking for hilarious content to make some sort of 'crazy Karen' compilation for TikTok then this is your go to for sure! Unfortunately, it ultimately ends with you having dispute charges with your credit card company even after you have followed all the rules New Spirt Vacation Homes sets outside of the Vrbo platform. Here it is - all spelled out chronologically and can be backed by 40+ messages back and forth with BOTH Niki and Monica, who appear to be the same person, at least in the way they message customers 8/28/2025 $653.35 paid in full for reservation for 3.23.26 - 3.26.26 12/11/2025 New Spirt Vacation Homes removed listing from Vrbo and directed me to view all details on their own website, not via Vrbo which made me very uneasy, so I canceled my reservation per Vrbo's timely allowances. Same day I am messaged by Nikki telling me to fill out an additional refund form outside of Vrbo and that they will take no less than 30 days to complete the refund request per their right with the CA SB 644 (California Senate Bill 644 )which legally allows them to do so. 12/19/2025 The additional email form not received via email from this company. I messaged to inquire and was basically scolded by Nikki and asked why I 'did not advise them earlier that they did not send the form?' Well, because it was not my responsibility to send it! 1/23/2026 More than 30 days past, still no refund. I messaged New Spirit Vacation homes to inquire. I was told by Nikki that "half our accounting dept. is out sick, and I will personally process the refund today." 1/24/2026 Nikki messages me now stating that "Our merchant services account does not allow us to process a refund with charges that are ran over 180 days prior to request so now we need to mail you a check." Keep in mind that the date of purchase was 8/28/2025 and the date I requested a refund was 12/11/2025. Simple math shows this is a lie, as 180 days after purchase date would have been 2/24/2026! 1/24/2026 Messaged a second time by Monica stating that she is "forwarding this request for a check refund to be issued by the CEO and mailed to you today." 1/30/2026 No check received. I message again, Niki this time lies to me stating that "I work night shift, but the check was cut and mailed out yesterday so it should arrive shortly." 2/4/2026 No check received, asked status, no response 2/5/2026 Messaged them a second time, said I will be starting a dispute with my credit card company. 2/6/2026 Next day Niki responded, "I personally tried to run your card (last lie was she mailed refund SAME DAY on 1/30/2026) and it would not allow, I will need to reach out to see what is going on." ******************* THAT WAS THE LAST MESSAGE FROM NEW SPIRT VACATION HOMES, AFTER THAT I INITIATED A DISPUTE WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY THAT WAS NOT RESOLVED UNTIL THE END OF MARCH 2026 ************* So why am I siting here wasting my 30-minute lunch break typing a novel? Well, remember that neat little California Senate Bill 644 (SB 644) mentioned earlier by Nikki as the reason for not refunding anyone before 30 days; basically 'because they can'? Guess what, it protects us too as consumers from unethical companies like New Spirt Vacation homes that regularly practice cash grabbing, lies, unnecessary delays and harassment with their refund process in hopes you give up and do not fight. I am not the one who gives up easily, so I have officially filled a consumer complaint with the State of California Department of Justice Consumer Complaint Office of the Attorney General I HIGHLY recommend you do so as well if they are taking longer than 30 days to issue your refund which is in a direct violation of the CA SB 644 and punishable with up to $10,000.00 fine.
