We stayed at three different hotels within one week, and this was definitely the best one out of…read morethe three, even though it was also the most expensive. The room itself was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. Everything felt orderly and taken care of during our stay. If I had to make one complaint, it would be about the furniture in the room. The chairs that were provided were a bit too low for the height of the desk, which made it slightly uncomfortable to sit and work. Aside from that, I had no major issues with the room. I also noticed that the hallways throughout the hotel were very clean, which added to the overall positive impression. The continental breakfast was another highlight and offered the most options out of the three hotels we stayed at during the week. They had scrambled eggs, which unfortunately tasted like they were made from powdered eggs, but they also offered hard boiled eggs, which were very good. There were maple flavored kielbasa sausages for meat, along with waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, and a good selection of pastries such as blueberry muffins and bagels. The variety made it easy to find something enjoyable for anyone. I also appreciated that coffee was available 24/7 near the front desk, which was convenient and meant I did not have to rely only on the continental breakfast area for coffee. One thing I do wish they had offered was regular cold water, since the only option available was hot water for tea.

All the regrets not checking the Yelp reviews prior to booking. The worst night sleep. Very dirty,…read moreunmaintained, and downright disgusting. Not the greatest service aside from check in either. We had just come back from a concert, it was late, and there was no other availability at another location close by so we were SOL. Pro tip: I always, always bring my flip flops with me. And I am so glad I do. I refused to put my feet on the filthy floors. There are so many things I can list that were not up to basic standards. If this were a restaurant, it would have been condemned and shut down. A couple issues: - Thick layers of dirt and spider webs on the drapery and walls. - Stained towels and bedding - Items left from in drawers from previous guests - Graffiti on the door frame - No cord on the iron - Broken doors, door frames, holes in walls/doors - Rude overnight and morning staff When we checked out we asked to speak with a manager to discuss the issues. The morning staff was a little aggressive and refused to get a manager or their phone number. We were referred to just call the number on the website. I really hate giving bad reviews but this Days Inn was trash. Hoping they read their customer reviews at some point and make changes to benefit their business.

I spent a night here as a hiker on the Pacific Crest Trail passing through. The Sage Spa was an…read moreamazing place to relax and it gave me what I needed to push on through to the next stop along the trail. I especially want to thank Lexy at Radiance Salon for the special care and attention she gave me when she cut my hair. She was very kind and was a big part of what kept me going. I realize that most who stay here may not be doing it for the same reasons but I think it's worth mentioning that this is the kind of place you can go to just to relax and take a break from whatever it is that you need to get space from on the outside. Also Pink Coffee was especially good and I would be thrilled to find a location on the east coast (and the workers at the cafe were also very nice to speak with). Thanks, Andrew

Invited to Mothers Day Brunch. First we had to get in a long line to get registered, eventhough my…read moredaughter registered on line. Every adult had to show a Player's card and ID. Employee who helped us at the Registration desk was polite-gentlemen assisting at the line to be sure we know we had to have ID and Player's card, so we wouldn't be dissappointed when we go to the front of the line. Then, there was another very long line to go up the escalator to the Ball Room. That was organized well, alternating two lines for those using the escalator-staff making sure some patrons do not cut in line. At Ball Room we go to our assigned table. Table number display could have been on 4 sides, so that when you step away it would be easier to find your table when you return: then there are 2 more long lines for the Buffet, which is set up in the area outside of the dining room. I didn't notice the seafood area, which was a distance from the main Buffet line. Another line for ham and prime rib. Inside the ballroom drinks and desserts only are available. We got two plates because we didn't want to stand in line again. Entertainment by Jon B.-loud, loud...singing/music. Majority of the 'mothers were over 50' that I noticed. It was difficult to have a conversation with those at the table. I visually counted about 5 tables with no guests on our side of the room. Comparing to my experience at Soboba's Mothers Day event, this event could have been more organized. As for the food-I liked the salmon, scrambled eggs and desserts.

Fig and lavender infused (LI) goat cheese pizza was excellent. LI mixed drinks were very good, but the LI beer was a bit of a let down. Sour type beer is fine but lacked any lavender smell or taste. Maybe expecting too much. Advice- Use the washrooms in/by the old hotel lobby, avoid the ones on the side of building with the large Pennants saying 'restrooms.'...they are old hotel rooms with storage boxes all over. Note main food vendors by the music stage area but there are boutique vendors at one side of venue by the hotel, with the LI teas, coffees, ice cream etc. Most sell the same stuff ( teas, jams, olive oils, creams, lotions, nic-nacs, etc). Will go back again.

I'm sure a lot has been said already about HIGHLAND SPRINGS' FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS so I'll try not to bore you with a long and lengthy "this is what you can find here". I will try to give some tips though. - Come early. Yes, even before the lights turn on. This is beneficial for avoiding traffic, getting good parking spots, shorter food lines, shorter bathroom lines. - Get your food first. So you can walk off the calories. Also, because most people eat after an activity when they get hungry... and then the line will be super long. - Get whatever lavender they have. Hot cocoa, Latte... - Reserve a s'mores pit. When it's cold, it's the best. - Take pictures of everything everywhere. We consumed the following and they were GREAT! - Smoked Brisket Poutine - Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl - Lavender Latte - Lavender Hot Chocolate
