When it arrived 2 of the 5 boxes were filled with overlapped bundtinis and another box had individual disasters I tried to smooth out. Called the store more than once to first check status on the delay. Spoke twice to Riley. She remained poised and calm each time. Very solutions oriented. Spoke once with Kate. My delivery fee was refunded. One hour later Cassandra delivered 3 dozen beautiful bundtinis complete with the requested flags in each. Great customer service! I asked for some salsa as pictured on their screen menus and the lady said she didn't know if she had any but brought back two salsa containers, the salsa was super salty. Their natural juices were delicious! I asked for a red juice as they didn't have any premade and it was delightful. Plus I ordered a mixed fruit salad and all the fruit was good. There is a great selection on pan Dulce and donuts. Another complaint I had was the lack of coffee. There was one roast or an ice blended option and no substitute milks.

85°C Bakery Cafe is our favorite bakery in SCV. It's not very big, but carries a nice selection of…read morebreads, pastries, cakes and handcrafted drinks. Conveniently located in a large plaza with Target, it's a great place to enjoy a fresh treat before or after shopping. We find their breads and pastries delicious. We have not yet tried one that we didn't like. The cakes are ok -- they're not overly sweet but I personally find them dry. However, one will certainly do if you're in a pinch for a quick birthday cake that can be personalized. Drinks are always great. We especially enjoy the seasonal offerings. Today's drinks were the Mango Green Tea and Strawberry Banana Smoothie. We also picked up a Mochi Egg Tart 2-pack to share. I have to remove a star for repeating issues with mobile orders. My order is often not ready when I arrive, at the designated time. This happened again today. I had to ask a team member about my order, who then checked for it in their system, then told me it will be out in a couple minutes. This gets frustrating during busy times. Our visits are typically in the late afternoons/early evenings. Pastry selections get quite scarce a couple hours before closing. The seating outside is dirty and sticky. The trash can is always overflowing.

We come to this 85°C all the time for the baked goods, but today was a major reminder of why we…read morerarely ever order drinks here. While snacking outside, I placed a mobile order for a large caramel macchiato using a coupon. After about five minutes, I went inside to check on it. There was no line at the registers, but nobody was actually working on any drinks behind the counter either. As soon as I tried to get an employee's attention, a wave of customers suddenly flooded the registers. I get that in-person orders need to be taken, but my order was already in the system well before theirs. When I finally managed to talk to an employee, she just shoved me off to wait in another line to talk to her coworker. Once I reached the coworker, she acknowledged my order and promised they'd "push it out in just a second." Instead, a group that ordered six drinks after I had already been waiting ended up getting served ahead of me. They pushed out around 10 drinks for other people while I stood there waiting well over 20 minutes for a single macchiato. To make matters worse, once my drink was finally made, it just sat on the counter for two minutes before anyone even bothered to hand it to me. Great bakery, but their mobile ordering prioritization and drink counter service are completely broken. Stick to the pastries. this isn't the first time I've been disappointed by their drinks, but it will be the last.

Found this shop and proceeded to go look for a cake. Went to the address on this Yelp and basically ran around frustrated. This listing also has no phone number beside it having the "old address". I found the phone number, made the call and was given the new location a few minutes away. Id dinlet her know the address was wrong on yelp. We walked with our 8 year old holding his 5 mylar ballons- Super excited! Not a comment from the young girl tending the shop. I mean, making an 8 year old day by saying "Happy Birthday" or anything similar- it would've cost her NOTHING. Sad. They had no cakes- A few cupcakes and cookies. So, Ordered our cupcakes (3) and proceeded with our evening. We bought a Strawberry, a Chocolate Lovers and a White Chocolate w Raspberry. Frosting was hard and honestly and sadly, not very tasty. Disappointing for the price of them and confused by the reviews. Maybe next time.
