They changed out my windshield in 15 minutes flat without causing any damage to the aluminum frame, which I inspected, before the replacement was installed. Safelite quoted me $449.99 before taxes. Safelite is a trusted national company which insurance carriers use, but that quote was too high!!! Diamond Auto Glass (1905 E. Shady Grove Rd. Irving, TX 75060) charged me a total of $140.00 including taxes. $85.00 for the glass only, and the difference for labor and taxes. I can buy 3 USA made windshields at Diamond Auto Glass, for 1 Chinese made windshield at Safelite. I highly recommend this company which was bustling with business. I saw over 15 people and a Irving Police vehicle getting their windshields replaced.

Since he offers mobile service, he came directly to me, which was a huge help when I was dealing with a broken windshield at 9am in the morning. Even though he was very busy that day, JC still made time to replace my windshield when no one else in the area could help me the same day. He and his team worked quickly, carefully, and clearly took pride in doing the job right. JC has nearly 30 years of experience, and he took the time to explain everything, address my concerns, and answer all my questions. His price was also very reasonable compared with the quotes I received from larger companies that morning. JC used my VIN to make sure he had available the correct glass for my 2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD. We even compared the manufacturer information on the original windshield and the replacement, and they matched. I was especially nervous about the front camera and safety sensors. -- Since the object struck nearly on top of the sensor (pictures below). JC explained the process, checked everything after the installation, and made sure there were no errors or warning lights on my dashboard. We tested everything before he left, and the camera and sensors worked without any issues. I'm really thankful I found JC online. He helped me out when I needed it most, charged me a fair price, and made sure the job was done correctly. I'll be keeping his business card handy and recommending him to my family and friends. If you need mobile windshield service from someone experienced and professional, give JC a call!

I wanted to speak with an ACTUAL person because I had specific questions that the automated numbers of OTHER places did not address. There was no getting around that, short of driving to a location to speak with someone. Finally I called my dealership and asked who they were using for windshield replacements. They told me AutoSpecs Glass in Irving. I called. A live person answered the phone. I believe her name was Hannah (please forgive me if I got that wrong). She was Very nice. Answered all my questions and set an appointment for me. Then I needed to reset the appt and she was able to get me in the very next day. The place was not that hard to get to and there was a nice seating area for me to wait. Yes, it can take a few hours - I knew that ahead of time and brought my work with me. Less than three hours later, a young man came in to talk with me about my car, what to expect and what not to do. Then, I was driving away with my brand new windshield. Also, while I was there, someone who had had window and windshield repair done on one of his fleet vehicles, came in to discuss a minor problem with a side window. Imemdiately they took care of the problem and did not charge him. Excellent customer service. And did I mention, the pricing was MUCH better than the other places closer to my home in Plano.
