Cockroaches, mold, theft. would highly suggest avoiding Myrtle Beach Tours at all costs. From the beginning the customer service representatives were patronizing and inconsistent. I stayed with a group of friends and each of us experienced credit card fraud because of the third party processing Myrtle Beach Tours chooses to use. There were hundreds of dollars stolen from our accounts and Myrtle Beach Tours representatives were entirely unapologetic. The place itself is in extremely poor condition--watch out for cockroaches, black mold, and loose jagged floor tiles. The air conditioning is kept on freezing and tenants cannot change it. The interns here are all super great - funny and personable - but Shaun is the man. There was always something fun to do - we especially enjoyed the plethora and variety of beach games. The staff ensured that our experience was professional and enjoyable. They took quality photos and captured precious moments that I will treasure for a lifetime. My friends and I rented a condo for senior week. We expected a nice clean condo especially since we payed $2500 for a week. Upon arriving, we were highly disappointed. The mattresses had many stains on them, the floors were incredibly dirty, and the entire place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. We booked the condo from 06/06/15-06/13/15. However, a Myrtle beach tours representative showed up on 06/12/15 screaming at us that we were supposed to check out at 10 a.m. that morning. We were forced to pack all our stuff up and leave a day early. Our stay also included a Myrtle maniac card to get into the parties for free. The last party was on 06/12/15. We expected to be able to go to the party, grab our free t-shirts, go back to the condo to clean up then leave the following morning. Since we were rudely made to leave the condo we missed the final Myrtle maniac party and therefor miss the t-shirts that were supposed to be included in our package. When we booked the condo we were also told that it was located in the middle of all the clubs and food. They referred to it as "walking distance". The clubs were a half hour drive. According to them "walking distance" is 20 miles. We will never be staying in Myrtle Beach through Myrtle Beach Tours ever again. I highly recommend you save your money. read more

Our fraternity has rented The Catalina Manor several times and each time was a GREAT experience! The office is very easy to work with and explain everything very well. Payments are easy to make, both individually and/or as a large bulk sum. The Catalina Manor was just what we needed to house our group of roughly 120 all under one roof! Do NOT rent from this business. To start, they are not accommodating to emergency situations whatsoever. My group had 9 girls and we had paid everything on time. One of our girls missed her flight and she had the money order for the security deposit. She wasn't able to get to Myrtle until 9 PM that night (we got there at 10 AM). So the first thing we did was go to the Myrtle Beach Tours office and explain our situation and see if there was some way we could get the keys to the house before 9 that night. We had no place to go and no where to put our luggage otherwise. The supervisor gave us two options, either take out more money to pay the security deposit now (which was $450 and we are college students who do not have that kind of money just laying around) or try to get the money order reprinted. He wouldn't do anything else because Duke students that had stayed there the last weekend never paid their security deposit on time and had a party and cops were involved. The options weren't possible for us so we accepted we weren't getting in our house until late that night. I told my dad what happened and he transferred me the money for the security deposit so we could get in the house. I was so happy I took the cash out and told them we were able to pay it. They told us to meet them at the house with the money and they would meet us there with the keys at 3. We waited for 30 minutes, calling and texting them but no answer and no one showed up. We finally got a response and they asked us to now come into the office. We take an uber to the office yet again costing us more money. When I try to give them the money, the supervisor comes out again and starts yelling that they were calling our group leader (WHO I TOLD THEM MISSED HER FLIGHT) and that's why we could not get ahold of anyone. Then he tries to tell us that it cant be cash it has to be a money order and at this point I got so mad I started crying. I said "No, you told me this morning to go take cash out at the atm down the street and that would work." He then doesn't know what to say and turns around and as he walks out he yells in an annoyed tone, "Can we get one person per group in here PLEASE". I was full into a breakdown at this point so I walked outside. One of my group members went in and he tried to tell her that he never told us they would meet us at the house. He literally read his text to us out loud where it clearly stated he would meet us at the house at 3. When he read his own words out loud and realized he was wrong, he scoffed and said "Whatever we'll take the cash." After that terrible interaction I was not looking forward to the rest of the week. The house probably hasn't been renovated since it was built. The windows and blinds barely worked, the wifi stopped working the first day and it wasn't fixed until the second to last day, the toilet takes two flushes for everything to go down, the beds are hard as a rock and the floors are literally uneven. When I called about the wifi, the same supervisor answered and gave me the worst attitude. He said that no other guests said anything about wifi not working and asked if we could get onto another wifi network. I said no, it would not allow us onto the network we need our own wifi that we paid for. He said he couldn't do anything else and that he would let the property manager know. It was finally back up and running on our second to last day. All in all, the experience with this company is a very negative one and I will never be coming back or recommend them to anyone. read more

Have rented from Myrtle Beach Tours for 20 years! They always go a great job with our groups. Friendly service. Clean, convenient condos, especially the Catalina Manor. We have stayed in Tres Palmas unit. It is nice because it has a balcony that overlooks the pool! Highly recommended for groups! read more

Such a fun week, well organized by Myrtle Beach Tours! So many fun activities and met so many new people

Me and 11 other friends rented a condo for our senior beach week. It was everything we could have hoped for. The house was in great condition, was pretty big, and was about a two minute walk to the beach. The Myrtle Beach Tours staff gave us the information/things we needed for the week and then left us to enjoy our week. The houses are all close together so you are surrounded by hundreds of other students from other schools, so there's a lot of opportunities to meet other people. For a little extra money you an buy a Myrtle maniac card which gets you into a lot of parties for free and lets you skip the line; definitely worth the extra money! As long as you clean up the house and turn the key in on time when you leave, you will get your full security deposit back afterwards. Overall great experience, if I ever go back I'll definitely by using Myrtle Beach Tours again! read more

Where do I begin... Last year in May myself and a group of my friends stayed at a condo rented out by Myrtle Beach Tours, not only was the advertised amount of people able to stay in the condo vastly underestimated but seemed to also be VERY over priced. Other than this, the stay was ok... until after when we wanted our deposit back. After calling them for 2 weeks straight after my stay on a phone number they had previously picked up on and was listed on their website, I found another phone number which they did end up answering. They told me that we had more then $500 in down payment that could be reimbursed and that they had actually already sent the check. The check never came. I called back asking what was wrong and I told them to resend the check, they said a $50 charge would be put on for them to resend a new. I said fine just do it because I was so frustrated. It still never came. These guys are cons, I gave up because I just don't live close at all to south carolina to be able to drive down there and demand for my money back, if I did I would. read more
