POOR Tim Phillips has no integrity. I had him give my '83…read more380 SL a custom paint job and he charged me $3,000. He said he would cut out the rust around the fuel tank and replace it with good sheet metal. In less than a year after he finished my car, the rust reappeared at the fuel tank. Also, one of the fenders didn't match the rest of my car. He did a very poor job painting my car, and if you are considering having Tim paint your car, I would think long and hard before you hire Tim. I will never recommend Tim to anyone, as you can not trust what he says. I assume that you want to feel total confidence in the person you choose to work on your car, and I wouldn't trust Tim Phillips to paint my lawn mower. You have been warned. Sam E. Smith, Jr.

I've won several car shows and each time folks comment and ask me who did the body work and paint job. Especially given how easily black shows paint and body flaws, folks are always amazed at how straight the panels are and deep and flawless the paint is. I tried to get sud stop to pay to repair it but they refuse now I have to go back to mycos to figure out how to get this fixed AGAIN. It's also now all scratched up from the car wash when it wasn't scratched at all since it was a new panel. It's not an aftermarket piece. This visit was a bit different. The circumstances leading to the needed repairs were different. The outcome was better than expected. I have a 2015 Nissan Juke that I've had over 10 years and I take great care of it. 3 years ago we moved from the mountains to Myrtle Beach. The heat and salt air caused a bubble to form on the hood of the car. It was filled with water. I popped the bubble to drain the water and the damage got worse. It looked awful. I wish I would have taken a before picture. I thought I was going to have to have the whole car repainted. Nope. I took it in to SC and Daghan said, "no problem." The cost was minimal and less than a week later I picked the car up. His communication is amazing. I didn't have to make any calls to remind him I was waiting. The work done? Flawless. It looks AMAZING. Honestly better than the day I got it. I HIGHLY recommend Daghan and his crew at Socastee Collision. You won't be disappointed.
