Located in Hyllie, access is easy as the mall is right next to the train station. You have 3 levels with a deck on the upper level with some nice views. An abundant variety of retail stores/services (about 220) with a couple of grocery stores (ICA & Willys) and Systembolaget (liquor store). The food court & restaurants are ok with a good variety including Vapiano to Jensen's Bofhus, Joe & the Juice, Thai, Vietnamese, Burgers, sushi and cafes. They have a parking garage as well a roof garden. Decorations are quite nice during the holidays with a huge tree. Currently working on expanding even further. Shop til you drop!

One warning: Don't go to Emporia on the first day of sales season…read more Otherwise, this place is pretty decent shopping mall and far more interesting than Fields, that once bragged the biggest mall in Scandinavia. Emporia has plenty of shops, some of them have their duplicates in Denmark, some don't and those are my favourite - since I have to cross the bridge all the way from Denmark to Sweden to visit this place, so I won't be visiting TGR (Why do they abbreviate Tiger?) or Illums Bolighus for that matter. Mostly I visit Emporia for three reasons: L'occitane (somehow, this is the only place where I found the 500ml shampoo bottle/refill), hardware shop Clas Ohlson (this shop is just freaking awesome, and of course a shop this awesome can't be found anywhere in Copenhagen *thumbs down*) and ICA supermarket (why are Danish supermarkets such downer compared to ICA?) You better make your trip worth it and we always do and go back to our residential land with loads of heavy shopping bags that make our hands hurt. Maximize your shopping, that is!

When walking through the town square the first time, sadly this store was closed. However, just…read morebefore heading back to the station to return to Denmark, I had wanted to come back and see if they were open. I'm glad I did. I had wanted to find something unique, but local to take back as gifts. It's very rare to find hand made things anymore, so when I saw this store's specialty was hand painted clogs, I got excited. There's definitely nothing like this where I live. The clogs were all wooden with leather, and all hand painted. The owner was very friendly and I'm sure he was surprised to meet someone all the way from Hawaii in his shop. I found the perfect pair of clogs for my daughter, and these should last a long time. I saw a customer come in with a pair of clogs to repair. Evidently, the shop will fix up a pair you bought years ago. Cool! In addition to clogs, they also sold Dalahäst (Dalecarlian) horses, which come from the province of Dalarna, and are famous and a symbol of Sweden now. No two are alike, as they are all hand carved and painted. They were pricey, but I would pay for the quality and knowing I had a unique hand crafted product, instead of a cheap knock off mass produced in China. They made for great stories and gifts. This is another store in which I look forward to visiting again in the future. Who knows, maybe in a few years I may be able to bring my clogs in to be repaired.

I am a huge fan of this shop…read more The concept is similar to Clas Ohlson anywhere, but this shop in Triangeln is slightly smaller than the one in Emporia, obviously because the lack of space. You could find pretty much anything at this shop, from baking form to bicycle lights - from ice cream machine to electric saw. Fantastic, isn't it? One stop shop for pretty much everything. The service was friendly as always. There was actually a shop attendant on the entrance greeting everyone with "heisann.... do you need anything?" Fantastic. For someone like me who got lost in home improvement tools jungle, I could always use a help!

Department stores of the more pricey kind…read more Easy access via bus. It's easy to browse the halls and stores even with a pushchair. A big variety of coffee places and eateries. Very easy to kill a few hours here (and more than a few bucks)

Ugh, I keep getting lost in here! It's an all right mall, but either badly laid out or else…read moredesigned according to plan; to keep you trapped in here and shopping forever! It is mostly made up of clothing chains but there are some good specialty shops (also chains) in between like Webhallen, Clas Ohlson, and Lagerhaus. There is even a small pet store (more like a kiosk) in case you forgot to get the cat's food and you're on the way home. Though most of the building is boring, there is a beautiful wall of plants next to L'Occitane. If only there was more of that! It is right next to the train station, the bathrooms are clean (and unisex), and there are over 15 places to eat so it's not the worst place to make a pit stop.

It is one of these malls that can…read moremanage to feel both deserted and crowded at the same time as it is dark and has fairly narrow passages. I actually thought it would just self die when more and more stores started shutting down and the shopping centers outside the city grew stronger. The turnaround came with the new station at triangeln. It also meant that this mall got a much needed renovation so part if it now looks modern and airy. That has to some extent revitalized it but the selection of stores is still the normal stuff you will find in most Swedish malls so a it boring. A few new food places have also opened up but also there very little excites, still it is a vast improvement compared to what it was.

Hipster ahoy! This is THE place to shop for clothing, I suppose…read more I ain't no hipster, but I could imagine that they would be attracted like magnets to this place. It's a vintage (isn't that what you call 2nd hand shop these days?) clothing shop full of pretty cool stuff. Although I usually call my style classic (or if you want to insult me - preppy), I almost walked out of here with a beautiful pair of maroon-coloured ankle boots. That magnetic, yes. They have tons of cool men's wear and pretty dresses for the ladies. I feel like this shop is curated in such way that it appeals to the eyes, even though you don't have a single drop of hipster in you (points to self - again). But take chances, come here and see for yourself. Although I walked out empty handed from here (In the end I could resist the temptation of the ankle boots), I feel that I could recommend this place for many of my friends!
