Ugh, I keep getting lost in here! It's an all right mall, but either badly laid out or else…read moredesigned according to plan; to keep you trapped in here and shopping forever! It is mostly made up of clothing chains but there are some good specialty shops (also chains) in between like Webhallen, Clas Ohlson, and Lagerhaus. There is even a small pet store (more like a kiosk) in case you forgot to get the cat's food and you're on the way home. Though most of the building is boring, there is a beautiful wall of plants next to L'Occitane. If only there was more of that! It is right next to the train station, the bathrooms are clean (and unisex), and there are over 15 places to eat so it's not the worst place to make a pit stop.

This mall has been fairly depressing as long as I can recall. It is one of these malls that can…read moremanage to feel both deserted and crowded at the same time as it is dark and has fairly narrow passages. I actually thought it would just self die when more and more stores started shutting down and the shopping centers outside the city grew stronger. The turnaround came with the new station at triangeln. It also meant that this mall got a much needed renovation so part if it now looks modern and airy. That has to some extent revitalized it but the selection of stores is still the normal stuff you will find in most Swedish malls so a it boring. A few new food places have also opened up but also there very little excites, still it is a vast improvement compared to what it was.

Please, can we go somewhere else, instead?…read more That's pretty much the answer I've given every time Richard S tries to drag me to Mobilia. There are enough shopping malls in Malmö, must we go to this one? It's far on the other end of the city (obviously, I'm exaggerating since how big is Malmö exactly?) and the place is so oddly arranged that all the "warehouses" like Siba and El giganten and god knows what are separated from the main building (or main mall). We had trouble locating Elgiganten and Siba for example because it was on the opposite end of the entrance and we had to walk all the way to another street to find Elgiganten. Although it's definitely a first world problem that a shopping mall has a bad layout that I'm complaining about, it doesn't mean that it's not valid! Inside, it's pretty much standard of what you can expect from a (swedish) mall. They have big Willys (I mean THE SUPERMARKET, not the kind of thing you picture in your mind) inside the building and also ICA, so now you know. Richard S told me that it was an old factory building before they turned into a mall, which was nice since they kept all the red-brick wall in the eating area, but yeah whatever you do, don't eat there. The selection is really bad, I meant REALLY BAD. Richard S ordered some fish and chips from a food booth there and got microwaved fish fingers and wilted fries. NOPE. SO, now you know my answer will be if someone tries to take me to Mobilia...

Another lovely L'occitane shop inside Triangeln mall…read more Rather than going all the way to Hyllie, I tend to buy my hair care products here in Triangeln instead. Service is equally friendly to the one in Emporia and I tend to get lots of freebies as well when I shop here (freebies, ftw!) The shop itself is located on the other end of the mall (not the one near the train station north exit) and it's relatively small, but they have pretty much all the range of L'occitane products that you want to find. The reason I frequent L'occitane shops in Malmö instead of going to the one in Magasin in Copenhagen is because only Malmö shops has 500ml shampoo bottles and refills, and obviously the low Swedish crowns value plays important role as well PS: Do become their member, although you don't live in Malmö. I get newsletter about discounts and new products that I really appreciate. Besides, a membership always earns you extra freebies!

This L'Occitane is well-stocked and has great service like the one in Emporia. She also pointed out free gifts that are available after spending a certain amount and put Eva K. and my purchase together so that we could achieve it. Finally she put our stuff in separate bags, sprayed some nice perfumes that were similar to our purchases, and threw in some free samples that she thought would match each of us. Really thoughtful service with a smile, no complaints!

I feel like many secondhand stores are starting to mark up prices way higher than what makes sense for used clothing, but at Beyond Retro the prices were very fair. To be fair, Beyond Retro has so many different stuff, classified in colours. I bet this is a second hand shop paradise in Malmö if you're really into it. Price is somewhat fair, but we came here during two-day Christmas sale where they cut the price massively making the offer irresistible, but still being the picky me, I couldn't find anything for my taste here. The men's clothing is on the left side of the entrance, all the way to the dressing room while the women's take more space on the right side of the entrance. You can find jeans, dresses, coats, up to fur coats! (not sure if they're real or not), to bags, shoes including ugly Christmas sweater. As long as you're patient and willing to browse thru the many items they have, you'd probably find something, as for me - I don't have the patience, besides I'm very picky with what I wear. Sorry. Blame me for the climate change or the decline in environmental health or whatever for not shopping second hand, but still this is a place to go if you're really into it. It's located in a small sort of mall with a couple of shops inside called Mitt Möllan, and it's close to Södervärn station.
