She's very informative and takes her time making sure I understood her. Yes I love asking questions. She share an office with Dr Jodi which is amazing. Even if I live on the other side of the island I would still drive there and not complain how far it is. Which I do with my other appts with pcp, obgyn, dentist and etc which are only 15-25 mins away lol. Besides I love the scenic views going there. Who runs up and down that stairs to the office...? Me!!! Lol. I would totally recommend Dr Markarian. She's the first Dr that understands Keto alongside with My keto doc Jodi!

Plus, his complaint about Kailua Cardiology not taking HMSA is bunk, as I have HMSA. He's about as petty as they come. That said, Dr. Markarian and her nurse, John, and the rest of the staff are hands down the best. Wouldn't trust my life with anyone else. Helpful, understanding, and best of all - you can reach them when you need them. That's important for me, in a day and age when we lack family doctors and sent to the urgent care or ER.

She's more than just a doctor, she's caring and understanding. Never judgmental and always taking the time to make sure I'm ok physically and mentally. Honestly, I don't usually write reviews on yelp for medical professions but I just wanted people to know that she is awesome because if you are being referred to see her, then usually you need peace of mind. Rest assured. She's awesome. Understand the stress and demands of healthcare workers and that they are multi-tasking. It's a busy office. If it wasn't, that would be more questionable. She went over my options taking my other medical issues in to consideration and respectfully listened to a couple I had heard about and shared with me pros and cons. It won't be an easy journey but I feel so much better with her as my quarterback. My wait was about 15 minutes and reception was meh, but maybe they were having a challenging day.
