A great place for great finds! Mostly gently used and new women's clothing, yet also children's and…read moremen's clothing at great prices. The volunteer workers are always very nice and helpful. They do accept donations yet please call them in advance before donating. They can always use your extra grocery plastic and paper bags. One way to reuse, reduce and recycle!! I can always find something for myself, my family or my man. Today I found some great items! My best deal was a 2 piece women's dress pant suit from Dress Barn size 6 for $1.50!! They mark things down to half often and have even deeper discount racks toward the back of the store. The hours are limited so please call before heading over if you aren't familiar with their schedule. As with all second hand purchases make sure to properly launder them before wearing or gifting. This is a favorite spot of mine to second hand shop at!

They have lied to us and jerked us around about the ring "on it's way" and "it's being sent overnight" but it has just been lies. I think they lost the ring and don't want to admit it. Manager refuses to refund the purchase so we can quickly buy another ring for the wedding. I used to use JCP for all my dress clothing and many other things. I assumed not, but on my way out, I did ask the two associates at the front (younger blonde-ish lady and middle-aged darker haired lady) if it happened to be for sale. I was completely fine with a no being the answer, but the darker haired lady responded "If you want to give me $1,000 you can have it." Again, I was totally fine with a no, and assumed it probably was not for sale, I just LOVE Mickey Mouse so I wanted to be sure because it isn't every day you see something so cool. I laughed a bit at the response and headed out at that point. The same clock is available on Ebay for $250, but I would have preferred Salvation Army get paid than some random person on Ebay. After leaving, a friend informed me that a majority of the items I had noticed when I walked in that were so nicely staged, are apparently also not for sale. And that staff being turned off by people asking about prices on those items often result in the same attitude back that I experienced. Again, totally fine if you don't want to sell people things, but signs would be nice or a kind response when people ask. I am a pretty firm believer in signage goes a long way, so if staff is going to be put off by people asking if something is or isn't for sale, I would recommend adding some "not for sale" signs around the store. No reason to be snarky with people asking if things are available or not. There are probably better options of places to shop and have a better experience with staff and a more straightforward shopping experience-and where you can still support great causes!
