I stayed here for four nights while attending a conference in Lebanon. Overall, I was pretty…read morepleased with the room. I found it to be modern and about as clean as you'd expect at this price point. I liked that housekeeping came daily and I liked the shampoo/conditioner that was provided. As others have mentioned, I found the motion-activated bathroom light to be a questionable and somewhat annoying choice. There is nothing quite as jarring as a beaming bathroom light at 2 am. The doors and walls are also quite thin. I was certain someone was entering my room at 7 am when the folks next door were messing with their door handle. Despite the shortcomings, I would probably stay again.

As an IHG member, I had higher expectations. The negative: the shower was tepid. The bathroom…read morelight is a motion sensor so when using the bathroom say at 5AM you are in for a very rude surprise (can't seem to be able to deactivate the motion sensor). Thin walls as I could hear guests having sex. No carpet in the room, which I prefer especially if it's chilly weather, so bring socks or slippers. No carpet also makes the room less homey and kind of echo-y. On the positive, usb and outlets by the bed on the nightstand and the hotel is dog-friendly. I liked the King size bed and bedding. And the location is near the highway. The gym looked great but I had no time to use it. Breakfast was Quaker oatmeal packets, granola bars, fruit, hard boiled eggs, muffins, cereal, Greek yogurt, and egg sandwiches, plus coffee and tea options. My mother said the coffee was good. I want to like this hotel, but I need a hot shower and bathroom lights that won't blind me when using the bathroom in the middle of the night.

OMG! The Cedar Grove Inn is the BEST place to stay…read more Let's just put it out there, most places that are available to rent for either the night or a week are either really seedy or are expensive cookie cutter rooms. At Cedar Grove Inn, not only are the rooms large and clean but at the Inn the love that goes into each room can be seen as you walk in. Every guest room has a large basket of snacks...cookies, chips, granola bars, etc. I stayed downstairs and I had a very spacious, comfortable room. The adjoining bathroom has a walk in shower and a huge claw foot soaking tub. Bath bombs are supplied if you want to take a long soak. There is also a mini fridge in the bath so that you can put drinks (supplied) or left overs in it. The breakfast is delicious. The food in the fridge is available at any time. If you are staying any length of time Kim or Rich will do their best to get it. Kim and Rich also supply beer and wine in the main kitchen so you can enjoy a happy hour before going out to explore Nashville for the evening. The couple are delightful to visit with. Don't be surprised if you see family stop by. Everyone is fun. I stayed a couple of weeks and received invitations to their open house at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I had fun! They raise chickens on the grounds and are certified to to sell both eggs and chickens. The chickens are delightful to watch for a city girl. They are released from their coop late morning and are allowed to free range until dark. I don't usually post reviews of places that I have stayed to but go see Kim and Rich at Cedar Grove Inn. It is an exceptional place to stay.

The breakfast was so good, bacon, eggs, toast, fresh fruit...coffee! The house is beautiful and I hope to return, having a little more time to enjoy the grounds.

I like La Quinta when I'm traveling with my dog, because they're mostly pet friendly. I say mostly…read morebecause this particular one was kind of strict about it. Apparently they've had a lot of problems with dogs. I checked in the lady behind the desk was kind of strange, but she checked me in efficiently and we were able to get into our room. Normally when I reserve ahead and I say I have a dog, they put me on the first floor, so it's easy to let the dog out. But apparently they were full so we were on the third floor. It happens. Like the La Quinta is got a few little issues. Like the . Otherwise it was very comfy beds and mostly quiet, I slept very well. And it really may traveling much easier when you can get a good rest. The location was convenient because it was right off the freeway and easy to get back on. It also helped that I had a number of good restaurants, but we can get food and then get back on our journey. Would definitely stop by again.

While my wife was checking in she informed them of my service dog. They immediately questioned my wife on the dogs job which is allowed but the first time anyone has ever asked. My wife finished checking out and as she was leaving one of the receptionist said that we didn't have a service animal to a co worker. My wife didn't tell me this or I would have immediately called my attorney and canceled our room. The next morning we put my dog in a crate which she is comfortable with and put a do not disturb sign on the door and left to get breakfast. We were gone 20 min and a receptionist calls my wife with a hateful tone stating guest were complaining my dog was yelping. I left my wife at the restaurant and went and picked up my dog. As I approached the door room service was a couple doors down but there was no noise coming from our room as I opened the door my dog was laying down in her crate. Which led me to believe that room service may have tried to enter our room. I then left with my dog, my wife and I immediately made the decision to cancel our reservation for the second night. I do not recommend this hotel as a dog friendly hotel

Not many cars in the lot so why not put people in the back facing rooms to avoid the noise? Metal stairs play like a harpsichord with kids making music, cigarette dispenser right at the top of the stairs. Room was clean with two work tables. Card key was hit or miss and if a bad woman was chasing me, good luck getting into my room quickly! Something was wrong with the air conditioner as it would rev up like a jet engine with the upside being it was louder then the Harley Davidsons cruising the strip.. Needless to say my three nights were mostly sleepless, but they do have an ironing board and iron in the room. Granted this place is cheaper than the other 4 hotels in the near vicinity, and is heavily used by people passing through and the people working there seemed nice. Is it worthy for those passing through, sure, but don't expect anything like the name of the establishment.

The check-in area was beautiful, and they had live fish. I would stay here again and again!
