From the very beginning Wendy, Amy, and Ryan have done their very best to help me regain use of my arm and shoulder after an accident I had this past summer. They are very in tune to their patient's needs, and are excellent at answering any questions you may have regarding your therapy. The team encourages you to step out of your comfort zone, but not in a way to where you would injure yourself. When I started my therapy over a month and a half ago, I had very serious doubts on what physical therapy could actually do to help me with my injury; I worried that my arm might not ever get better. Little by little Wendy and her team have worked to get my arm moving again and after every appointment I can see and feel the difference. If you're in the Heritage Ranch or Oak Shores area and require physical therapy, please give these folks a try. I'm a pediatric physical therapist and she was able to treat some low back pain that began during my last 4 weeks of pregnancy. During my initial visit, she found and treated the specific ligaments that were causing my back pain. After that visit, I felt no more pain and I had a really great labor/delivery to a beautiful, healthy baby the week after. I would highly recommend her to anyone having pelvic floor or women's health issues! She is both a wonderful clinician and a sweet, warm person.

None of these practices helped. I started seeing Wendy during my first trimester. She is very welcoming and her office is lovely. She spends a lot of time listening to your experiences and understanding your body. I started feeling better after a couple of visits and continue to heal with each visit. Wendy will make videos on your phone of exercises, show you diagrams in books, give great product recommendations, and send you text reminders for appts. Her passion for her work really shows! I'm currently in my third trimester. As my body is shifting, she helps keep my body aligned and feeling good. Seeing Wendy is one of the best things I've done to take care of myself. The energy is warm and low key and both the therapists and assistants are so helpful, encouraging and professional. I feel lucky they are here in Morro Bay as I live here, but if they weren't I would drive to where they were. Rehabbing is hard enough as it is. Rehabilitation is hard enough as it is. After decades of martial arts practice, including 8 years of hard core Brazilian Ju Jitsu, my 70 year old body has needed lots of physical therapy for many hurting joints and strains. Recently plagued with a very tight right side QL muscle in my back, I went to several therapists who tried various leg exercises and spinal manipulations which only worsened the condition. During the first two minutes with Dr. Mullin she got to the source of the issue, with my hip alignment being 1 inch out. Neither of the previous DPT's had even checked this. Her recommendations were spot on and helped me get back onto the water, sculling again. Thank you Dr. Mullin.

Yesterday as I was waiting for Stacey a young lady (another McKenzie) from the the front counter asked me to come to it as we have an issue with some of your appointments. So she proceeded to tell me that my allotment of appointments will have to be reduced as per the paperwork they have. I tried to explain to her my side of the story but she did not want to listen to one word I was saying. She even went as far as to tell me she would be reducing the remaining appointments I have. I asked her if we could discuss this tomorrow when I bring in my paperwork which would show she was wrong. After some further talking I convinced her to this. So when I got home I found my paperwork and called. What was really annoying was when I told her that my paperwork would show that she was wrong she basically told me she would not believe it. She is even the office manager. She sure should learn to to be lot more tactful when dealing with situations like this. She was actually rude to me.
