MRI showed something but I can't remember all I know if the doctor's attitude lacked. A few months later, I called and asked if he would recommend a couple of items to help with my husband's knee pain and I wanted my FSA to cover it and he said he "didn't necessarily recommend" the products so he wasn't willing to help me get them. I was like, ok getting another doctor... that is how I came by Dr Muncy. Dr Muncy listened to me, made some recommendations, confirmed my left knee was probably hurting because it was over compensating for the right knee and then wanted to get me out of my pain in my right knee. He offered a plan to have a steroid injection now and then order Synvisc and when I was ready for it, it would've waiting in the clinic for me. I have osteoarthritis. He was very gentle giving the knee shot and didn't hurt me, took his time, then we went over the plan again and that was it. The reason for the 4 stars is because his office staff wanted me to handle the order of the medicine. Well the pharmacy wouldn't authorize with insurance and for 8 years I have received these shots and the office ordered through insurance and called when it was ready I don't know why they didn't want to take care of it but it took three calls to convince them how to get the injection medicine from my insurance. It's just time consuming to have to take time out to call and get it worked out. If the office staff is able to handle this order I will for sure update my review as I was really happy with the doctor.

He has a small surgical center in house for certain procedures that will shave weeks off getting your pain under control. He is the only one in medicine I have come across who understands sense of urgency when it comes to debilitating pain. My husband recently had shoulder surgery by Dr. Moen. We keep it in the family bc we love it here and can't say enough great things about the doctors! However, today I was "assisted" by a woman named Hilda while checking in to see Dr. Vineyard, whom I love and who was one of my surgeons. Not only was Hilda curt and extremely rude to me, she seemed to be upset with another employee who had been helping to answer some insurance questions I had, for not checking me in herself. The interaction was very awkward. Hilda had been having a conversation with another woman and it was obvious she did not want to be interrupted. I felt terribly sorry for the woman she was rude to Barbara (who was extremely helpful and friendly!).

Didn't properly manage expectations before the surgery…read more I met the doctor twice before the surgery and was explicitly clear about how I am physically active, train dialy, how function is my number one priority. Had this surgery been sold to me as pain management for older folks where function will be sacrificed, I would have not had my shoulder replaced. I now have a "bum" shoulder that does not work right. Activities I have engaged in all my life are no longer possible. When I noticed something wasn't right about 3 months after surgery the doctor replied with answers like "I think it looks better that way," or "I'm concerned how it looks, how's the pain?" Then when I pushed the doctor to fix this ugly mess, he cuts his losses and doesn't want to deal with it anymore. The results are ugly. I have a deep 1 inch indent/gash compared to my other shoulder and it's visible under cloths. If you carry extra muscle it will be far more noticeable. Note to the doctor: please don't include me in your 97% success rate. This guy doctors up his Google ratings. Don't be fooled into thinking he gets no negative reviews. I have 3 other orthopedic surgeons, a cat scan, 2 ultra sounds, and all say the same thing independently, this isn't right. Fortunately, I found a doctor to fix his mess.
