I thought he might have had an off day on my 1st visit, but 2nd and 3rd only got far worse, which were spread out over 6 months. He is the first doctor in my 25+ years who seems to genuinely **not care** about me getting better and helping me become a better patient. Having been married to an ER doc and being involved with docs for many years, from social circles, this is not a stellar patient advocate, nor educator, either. All attempts to ask questions resulted in one word replies and generally rushed out of the office. Take a look at my other reviews, it is the first 1-star -- ever. Unfortunately, it seems the bar is pretty low here in Phoenix, as compared to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Detroit.

Interesting experience yesterday when I called and made an appointment for the next day due to a…read morebad cough with congestion. I was offered a video visit but declined since I had already made an appointment. A little while later I got a call from someone I thought was a triage nurse but was actually the nurse practioner. So I didn't state all the symptoms and saved some for the nurse practioner visit the next day. Later I got a call from the office staff asking if I wanted to keep the appointment tomorrow since I had a video visit. I informed her that I was not aware that it was a video visit since I had already declined the video visit earlier and kept the appointment. She seemed surprised. I called back later and canceled the appointment. Someone had also called about my labs which I know have multi abnormal values and I declined reviewing them stating I was seeing someone in person tomorrow and she can go over them then. So, I guess I won't know what to do about the abnormal lab results as well. Needless to say I wont be returning due to the bumbling staff and the risk of things going sour the next time I attempt to see a nurse practioner. Disappointing since I planned on continuing to go there but now I won't be returning which probably don't really matter to them.

After checking in at the front desk, I completed the patient symptoms form and turned it in. At around 10:15am, I was called up by the front desk rep that checked me in. She asked if I knew my appointment had been cancelled - the doctor (Melissa Molyneux, MD) called in sick this morning. The answer was NO! I understand, things happen that's out of our control. But no call, no text, no MyChart message indicating my appointment was cancelled is egregious. Mychart still displays an active appt. I was told there were no other doctors available to see me. I drove 40 minutes and waited 30 minutes to learn I couldn't be seen. Very sad. I will not be returning to a Noah facility.

Subsequent to that, spent 28 days in the ICU. All the staff were absolutely wonderful. Not only were they so well qualified but also so caring and attentive to all of our needs. That being said the staff was ready, patient, organized and kept everyone who was waiting at ease. The same is true once I got in to be evaluated. The nurse who set my IV (I'm sorry I forgot your name I was in a bad way) was amazing. She was finishing the tail end of a long and busy shift, but had such a great attitude and disposition it put myself, and everyone else she help in a better state of mind. Shout out to the CT technician, I don't think you can be better or more efficient at your job. And that goes for everyone else in working the ED. Upstairs staff: Dr. Kruti P. Shah took authentic interest in my situation every day, really taking the time to get to know me and my lifestyle to bulk-up/supplemet her treatment plan. So empathetic and multifaceted it was almost like having two doctors for the price of one. I can verify first hand that she gets to the point and would never play mind games with your health. My day nurse Sandie used her amazing bedside manner and her experience/expertise in the nursing field to anticipate my needs so consistently it felt like she could read my thoughts. Her close partnership with Dr Shah came through it made me take note of how much they care. It's nice to see such a close partnership in such a large facility. The biggest compliment I can give them both is the lesson I took away in doctor/nurse/patient trust. I will never forget how the trust we had will be impossible to recreate in the future. Thank you both for being so kind, compassionate and understanding during my time of pain. I will never forget it. ED staff: you are heroes and the heart of this facility. Thank you.
