He listened to what we wanted and delivered the perfect balance of greenery and flowers to create the "wildflower" look that my daughter envisioned for her wedding. I've known Kerim for almost a decade now, from being a customer relationship to friendship. The best part of our wedding was to have Kerim and My Wedding Blooms to be in charge of our floral decorations. We could not have asked for a better florist, Kerim went above and beyond & exceeded our expectations!! WOW OH WOW! Look how beautiful and unique our wedding floral arch is for the ceremony!! We had a crescent gold arch , which I've never seen at weddings before. Kerim suggested to use this unique arch instead of the traditional ones, and I'm so glad I listened to him. He has the BEST suggestions and tips. The best part was, they were able to repurpose the ceremony flowers for our sweetheart table. Out of all the vendors I had for my wedding, I probably had the most contact with Kerim. I knew immediately after the very first call we had that I wanted to hire him. Kerim took into consideration everything I wanted for my wedding but was very transparent about what was feasible, aesthetically pleasing, and within my budget. He gave his professional opinion while still being mindful of what I had envisioned. We needed to add some last minute flowers for our seating chart (like, day before last minute). We had a phone call to discuss options and he was LITERALLY on the way to pick up my flowers as we spoke. This man does not f*ck around. Kerim made me feel as if I were his only client. I found My Wedding Blooms through Yelp. Being 2 months away from my wedding day and not having a florist I was getting very nervous. SO as always I referred to my good old Yelp app to see what I can locate in LA area. When My wedding Blooms came up and after reading some reviews I thought it is not a bad idea to give it a try. When I called the number a nice man (Kerim) picked up and we made an appointment to go see him and the rest is history!!!! Our first meeting went quite well. He walked us through different options regarding and basically educated us regarding how flower could impact our pictures and such. After spending almost 2 hours with us, we had a good idea of what we wanted. A month passed and I decided to go back and look at a replica of my centerpiece to see whether I like it or not. I have to admit at the first glance I didn't like it at all, but Kerim was soooo nice that he took the time to understand really what I wanted and how I wanted the flowers to be changed. That meeting took another hour and a half. One week before the wedding we made another appointment to finalize everything. Again Kerim was kind enough to offer us to drop off my bouquet at the hotel in the morning and to drop off the centerpieces at the wedding venue in the afternoon. After I got to the hotel from the hair salon and saw my bouquet I was so shocked.... It was a beautiful bouquet and exactly what I wanted. When we got to the venue and saw the centerpieces along with the cake table we were sooooo pleased. Everything looked magical and beautiful. Kerim truly went above and beyond what my husband and I had anticipated. The floral arrangements were so pretty and colorful and at the same time classy that words can't describe them. It is noteworthy to mention that we didn't have a big budget for flowers at all. I understand that some people spend 10k-15k just on their flowers but we were't willing at all to spend that much on flowers that would end up dying 3 days later. My Fiancé and I met Kerim at our venue's (Calamigos Equestrians) Food tasting night. Kerim had done all the sample floral centerpieces for the event and they were absolutely amazing. So amazing that I hunted him down at the food tasting and I made an appointment with him that night. Kerim met with my parents, my fiancé and I and made us completely comfortable. He was able to listen to my ideas and knew exactly what I was talking about. He showed us pictures of his past creations to give us ideas of how everything would look. We hired Kerim for our wedding and were very happy with his work. He was friendly, made a lot of good suggestions and made sure that on our wedding day everything went smoothly. He delivered all bridal party flowers to my hotel early in the morning. Our wedding and reception were happening in the same venue (Cicada, see my review for them) and the same room, so Kerim had to wait for our ceremony to be over to decorate reception tables. Everything went great and at the end of the evening we have distributed our beautiful centerpieces to our guests, many of whom have told me since that the flowers lasted for over a week. For example, my aisle decorations were used again for my sweetheart table at our reception. I also remember in passing how I told him I loved wheatgrass. Kerim and his team at My Wedding Blooms are a very talented bunch. My husband, myself and our families could not have been more pleased with our flowers. From the first few minutes of meeting Kerim, I knew I'd have nothing to worry about and throughout the process he became more of a friend than a vendor. He listened and understood my vision clearly but has the creative ability to flush out that vision with expertise and thoughtful detail while being respectful of our limited budget. Everything under his purview (flowers, candles and some decor aspects) was incredibly executed--from the large, rustic and breathtaking ceremony flowers (for our Persian ceremony), to the ceremony aisle flowers (wild flower-esque in large mason jars wrapped with taffeta), to the flowers on our reception tables-- a mix of succulents planted in various antique silver pieces my mother-in-law had collected, gorgeous blooms in various sized glass bottles, to the main centerpiece which were dreamy, whimsical and charming flower arrangements that included peonies, spray roses and dahlias to name a few, displayed in antique silver pitchers we had also collected. The result was so spectacular that many of our Persian guests (who are incredibly picky in nature) complimented incessantly on our flowers and asked many times who our amazing florist was. Every dollar spent was worthwhile as all the floral and decorative elements Kerim brought to the table helped make our wedding an absolute dream. The only point in which I wasn't ecstatic on was my bouquet. As beautiful as it was, it was a bit more put together than I would have liked. That is to say, it could have been more whimsical and "wild" like the rest of the flowers. Kerim is amazing. I got married on 11/11/17 and the flowers were stunning. I had everything pictured in my head, but was not very good at explaining what it is I was wanting and what I was picturing. I used Kerim for my wedding back in August. He was actually suggested by our venue contact because he was also using him for his wedding. Upon meeting Kerim he seemed very knowledgeable and full of suggestions. We really felt as if he had our best interest in mind when making suggestions and providing his opinion. He sat with us for quite some time until we had a clear picture of what we were trying to accomplish. We were approaching him for a bouquet and boutonniere as well as to provide some sort of coverage as we were getting married outdoors in August. We were pleased and excited upon leaving Kerim after the first visit. Afterwards, he seemed to take a very long time to respond to emails and provide quotes. We found his quotes to be a bit on the high side for what we wanted to spend for example giving me a quote of almost $300 for my bouquet. He seemed to be irritated that we took items off of his quote after double checking prices elsewhere thus confirming his prices were a bit on the high side. After I had passed the baton to my wedding planning folks, they reported back to me that he was often times rude and unresponsive. Point blank refusing to come 30 minutes earlier the day of our wedding. To add insult to injury he was over an HOUR late the day of our wedding and did not apologize nor did he provide the product that he said he would a tight/taught structure to block the wedding guests from the sun. Instead what he provided was a big loose parachute type of material looking stuff. Being that we used him for a wedding I probably wouldn't have to use him again I just throw my 2 cents out to you. I'm guessing that we received such poor quality and service because we cut back on the items that he wanted to charge us an exorbitant amount for. But, regardless, you have been forewarned. read more

The Sister used Kerim as her florist on the recommendation of her wedding planner and a mutual friend so it was natural that I look to Kerim for my floral needs as well. Kerim is genial and makes you feel relaxed. There is no pressure at all and he works hard to fit your budget needs but he's also careful to tell you when he thinks, professionally, that something will not look right. I went into my meetings with him very uncertain as to what I wanted. I had some ideas and we talked them over (first through a phone conference and then in person) and he was very relaxed and showed me lots of different ideas. Once I knew what I wanted, he was able to assure me that it would look perfect. He had a mock centerpiece made up for me when I requested it which was great. I also LOVED my bouquet. Kerim was my flower vendor for our wedding and it was great. The flowers turned out lovely! I didn't tell him that we had another table last minute and when I got to the restaurant, there were flower petals and an orchid on the table. Instead of just saying oh wells, she only ordered 27 tables worth of flowers, he took the time and effort to make the table look better, with what he had. He also decorated the main table in addition to what was requested. There were flower petals and orchids scattered creating a very lovely effect. The flowers themselves were beautiful. I let Kerim have free range on them since I didn't really have anything in mind. They turned out very well. Everything he did was very nice. I especially loved what he did with the boutonnieres. It was a calla lily with a blue flower. I know it was my wedding, so I may be biased, but I've got to say, it was the best looking boutonniere I've ever seen. Kerim was also really budget friendly. I remember before I talked to Kerim, I talked to a flower shop that wanted a minimum of 5000 for the event. And each centerpiece would cost $150. Kerim doesn't have any of that. Kerim was incredible! Out of all the vendors we had for our wedding, Kerim was by far the best. He's more than a florist. He walks you through the entire process and makes you think logistically about the needs of your day (beyond the flowers). He was incredibly helpful, flexible (especially when we had to change our venue last minute), and just super sweet. His prices aren't ridiculous, and his work is just beautiful. Kerim of My Wedding Blooms greets you with all smiles and lots of laughs. He is the cherry on top of the beautiful floral arrangements he creates tailored to your wishes and demands. After he attentively listened to my very simple, almost generic description of what type of flowers I imagined for my wedding, he immediately followed with his vision of what he'd create for me solely based on what I quickly shared. He's a mind reader! A great one at that. And he works with your budget, even as small as ours was. And he didn't give me a hard time when close to the wedding I decided to eliminate half my order of flowers (I decided to DIY my reception centerpieces). In fact, he almost seemed more excited for my upcoming wedding than me! His positive attitude kept me calm in the last few days towards the wedding. The day of, he came to my hotel room in the AM to drop off my bridal party flowers... and in Kerim fashion, with smiles and laughs, he introduced to me my wedding bouquet - the most beautiful bouquet I couldnt have imagined myself! The perfect size tailored to me, with accents of succulents and blue thistle (a gorgeous exotic blue hued flower Kerim introduced to me) and wrapped up in simple, yet elegant lace. To make it more personal, he helped me pin a picture of my father on the bouquet, so my dad could walk down the aisle with me. It was perfect. and so was my ceremony and reception. Kerim made my worries vanish when I finally walked down the aisle with simple yet beautiful flowers gracing the aisle and a romantic, flowered arch at the alter. Kerim also added simple touch of succulents on my wedding cake. At the end of the night, Kerim greeted me one last time at the door, with the biggest hug and teary eyes and said with sincerity, " I will miss you and john". If you want beautiful flowers and a stress free florist for your wedding, My Wedding Blooms is a great choice. We had our wedding last month on the hottest day of the year thus far. We had an outdoor wedding right in the middle of the day. Regardless of all the of scorching hot weather, Karim's flowers held up and were beautiful throughout the whole wedding (and even a couple of days later!). Karim and his staff were very professional (they even had uniforms) while setting up and everything looked so beautiful. They were on time, easy to work with and courteous. I know most people think, "oh no one will notice your flowers at the wedding", but Karim did such a good job guests actually complimented my bouquet and my flowers. He gave me tips on how to hold my bouquet and made sure the size of my bouquet was proportional to my size, these are things I didn't even realize were so important!
