This place deserves more than 5 stars! The food and the staff are beyond awesome!
We found this gem a year ago, more or less by accident, and we've been longing to come back ever since. Since it's located in one of the little side streets, you will be able to enjoy a quite, relaxed dinner.
What makes My Thai so special in my eyes is the quality of the food. It tastes like cooking with passion and love. The ingredients are fresh and well put together. We had the Satés and Prawn Cakes as starters - delicious. The meat is juicy, but still well cooked, the peanut sauce is heaven and the crust of the Prawn Cakes was crunchy. For the main course we chose the red beef curry (had this one last time already but i don't get tired of it) and the stir fry chicken with cashew nuts - delicious as well, a good portion, not too much so it leaves room for dessert. Last time we missed dessert which was a mistake. The dessert of the day (mousse au chocolat with pepper and crunchy cookie) and the mango tarte with coconut icecream (homemade, i believe) were the best way to top this.
Besides the food i'd like to mention the staff. Beyond friendly and polite, professional, respectful but interacting. You don't find that very often, to be honest. It seems that they love what they're doing.
We cannot recommend My Thai highly enough. read more
