Very nice sushi bar, with a good amd long circle. Very good food and the menu (fixed price for a fixed number of plates) are very good value

Quantity does not mean quality. Avoid the all you can eat slot.

Very nice Japanese restaurant for a quick meal in Frankfurt, specially if you like kaiten-zushi…read more(conveyor belt sushi). We had a delicious unagidon (eel over rice), shrimps, some rolls and a warm sake. Service was quick and attentive and there were plenty of choices. It's not what I would call traditional, as there are lots of westernized and 'creative' sushi, but the food was very well done and we had a good time!

Sushiko is a nice little conveyor-belt sushi place in the heart of Sachsenhausen on Schweizer…read moreStrasse. Their sushi comes in 8 price-tiers, colour-coded to the plates they circulate on. For my money, Sushiko is better than their competitors on this level in Frankfurt like Sushi Circle, Sushi Live, etc. You can either pick-up from the conveyor belt or order fresh bento boxes, sushi rolls or tempura selections. Anything that you pick up that is intended to be eaten hot, a waiter will quickly spot you and warm the dish for you on the spot. The staff are very friendly and attentive and quick to help you out, which I really like. You can either sit counter-style, facing the belt or at some of their 4-person tables, all on high stools. They have good green tea and some nice, dry Japanese beers as well. Like any conveyor belt sushi joint, they throw some rather random curve balls into circulation like chocolate truffles, puddings and random western things that don't really belong. However, the selection of sushi and tempura is good and if you don't see what you want, just flag a waiter and it's made to order very quickly. The fish and overall quality is good for this type of restaurant - of course they don't try to compete with the higher end, more traditional places like Fujiwara. But for their niche, Sushi outshines others on the same playing field.

Heard about this through a Facebook group. Glad to have tried is. Their broth is so silky smooth…read more Their eggs aren't soft boiled or soaked in seasoning but they are still good. The roasted onions leave a great after taste and the chasu in the shoyu base was so so tasty. It gets a little warm in the small shop and they can't serve a lot at one time as they are really small but what they do serve is really really good.

What used to be an amazing gem has since changed ownership, and the newer version falls far short…read moreof impressive... My wife and I used to come here on date nights to enjoy an okonomoyaki menu (soup, salad and okonomoyaki), Udon, and some killer sushi. Tonight we thought it was time to pay another visit, so we made a reservation because they're usually packed on Fridays. Well, tonight we walk in to two other groups sitting. We should have walked out then and there. After a good five minutes reviewing the menu, searching for our favorites, we finally asked. "Where's the Okonomoyaki?" Turns out, the restaurant's under new management, but keeping the same name. The new menu basically has a handfull of appetizers, and as it turns out, lower quality versions of the old sushi menu. Dissapointing to say the least. For some reason, we still give the place a shot. It could be good, right? Wrong! I get tuna and spicy tuna. The tuna's okay...pretty standard, while the spicy tuna's a tuna avocado roll, served with a dipping bowl of spicy sauce. Even worse, this tuna looks like it's been out for a while. A €50 lesson learned here, hopefully not just for me. Don't bother, hit up another Sushi joint instead.
