Instead of going high with the clippers, he stayed low and left some length up above to allow for some movement of the hair. No one has cut my hair this way (to my recollection) and I was very happy with the result. The best haircut I've had in quite some time. My hair was getting brassy and it needed a little pick me up, so Hailey worked her magic and I felt so refreshed after our session was done within reasonable time.
