The walls are covered with the stunning work of local artists and shelves are adorned with beautiful baubles created by local hands. Over the years I have visited time and time again and I have never minded making the hour long drive to what has become my favorite fashion oasis. The girls that work there have always been patient with my indecisive nature and I always feel fabulous about my choices when I leave. Over the years, I have built up quite a collection of high quality clothing from Lula Balou and each piece looks as amazing now as the day I brought it home. I have spent a ridiculous amount of money on clothing at Très blue over the 3 years I've been living in Wilmington but after today's incident I will never shop there again. I found a really cute dress and was excited to try it on, but when the girl came to grab it to start me a fitting room she looked at me up and down (mind you It was 40 degrees and I was wearing a big sweater and a coat) and asked if I really wanted to try this dress because It was an extra small. I couldn't believe her. I was extremely taken back and didn't even know what to say. I am 5 feet 100 pounds and I think I know what size I am. But that's besides the point, the dress could have been an extra large and I still wouldn't expect that kind of answer from anyone. This girl was rude, naive and obviously not properly trained on how to treat customers. Worst store experience ever.
