A hidden gem! The store is absolutely adorable and has a little bit of everything! From cute clothing, Vera Bradley items, and books, to children's toys, and so many fun knickknacks and oddities. We found things like dinosaur chopsticks for our kiddos and trivia cards that you don't see everywhere, which made browsing so much fun. As a book lover, I loved their book rewards program! Buy 3 regular-priced books and get the 4th 50% off! Even better, the rewards card is designed like a bookmark with an old-fashioned library checkout card on the back, which is such a charming and thoughtful touch. What truly made this place stand out, though, was the kindness of the staff and owner. My husband uses a wheelchair, and the owner was incredibly accommodating, even offering to open the store an hour early the next morning so we could shop before it became crowded and more difficult for him to navigate. That level of compassion and customer service is rare and meant so much to our family. If you're visiting Topsail, Bumblebee Market is definitely worth a stop. I love this place. The store is so cute and nicely designed. This place is a little pricey, but so is everything at the beach. They have a cute selection of random things. I find at least something I like every time I come here. The workers are so friendly and welcoming. They even had kids stuff here. It was not like a tourist trap store at all. read more

Very cute shop on the island. So much to look at and lots of options. The ladies working the shop are very friendly and personable. You can find just about anything at this shop...from chocolate truffles, clothing, cards, clothing, jewelry, stuffed animals to dog treats. Such a cute and fun local shop! We came here looking for a gift after not finding anything at a few other shops. We were pleasantly surprised to find so many cute options - almost too many options haha! They have a great selection ranging from cute stationery to candles and soaps to jewelry and clothes and much more. My two favorite sections were the beach themed decor and dog items. I of course had to get my pup a fished shaped doggy cookie. They also have delicious chocolates and some coffee drinks. I wish I had taken pictures to share but I was too busy shopping :) The owner, Julie, is super friendly and even gave us recommendations for other local shops to check out around the island. My favorite store in Surf City! The Bumblee Market is adorable and well stocked with cute gifts and not-cheesy souvenirs. The staff are friendly and excited to fill you in re: the ongoing sales. There are gifts in every price range. Featured brands include: Bando, Vera Bradley, and Scout. The clothes are classy and affordable (while still maintaining a high quality). I have been here several times to purchase gifts for others and yesterday I finally bought a few things for myself :-) what's great about Bumblebee is that they have brands we all know and love, such as Scout, Lilly, and Vera Bradley. Additionally, they have something for everyone. There are gifts for children, cat and dog lovers, jewelry lovers, edible things like truffles, decor for beachy people or fellow Jesus lovers, you name it. Speaking from personal experience, the truffles are amazing! My friend loves the cat magnets I purchased from here. I love my Scout bags! This gift shop is probably the best on the island. It offers unique gifts and delicious truffles. I found a cool zombie mask for a 9 year old boy and a stylish beaded bracelet for myself. Cute store, and market. I've tried they're lattes and chocolates and they were very good. If u are on the island and looking for something different they have it. They have the usual Vera Bradley, but they do have a nice selection. Also, cute housewares and interesting gifts and cards. They also carry a selection of caldrons gifts and books that again aren't your usual off the rack items. I like shopping there because it is not all the same ole gift shop items. Wonderful shop on Topsail Island with a wide variety of unique children's toys and women's jewelry and clothing. The prices of some of the clothing items seemed a bit high, but the jewelry and other accessories were more reasonable. I always visit this little shop. It has great girly trinkets and gifts. I only give 3 stars because it's quite crowded due to its size and things are pretty pricey.
