History
Established in 2017.
In 2013 Rob started Screen Printing in Scottsdale, Arizona after 25 years of graphic design service freelancing with the intent of putting his art on shirts as wearable art.
In 2013 Rob created his first brand, “Be Blessed Apparel” spiritual, lifting messages and designs, and later that year Rob created his second brand “UNITDOG Apparel” focused on honoring veterans and active duty service members and patriot who support them.
In 2017 Rob moved from Arizona to Pawcatuck, Connecticut and established “My Screen Print Guy” in Stonington Connecticut. my Screen Print Guy continues to print Unit Dog Apparel, and has since established to brands to new brands, “Hook & Fin Gear and Apparel”, and “Bullshit Artists”
My Screen Print Guy continues to primarily print for the local small businesses in the area while supporting local artists who want to put their art on apparel as well. We always encourage our customers to come in and experience our shop. Many of our customers become good friends.
Meet the Business Owner: Rob F.
Hi, I’m Rob and some of my friends call me Bob. I’ve been an artist and a sailing adventure, my whole life. I studied fine arts at Wagner College, graphic design, and illustration at Parsons. I’ve done design work for companies like Bell Sports and Frog Design out in California. But I always wanted to be a screen printer and in 2013. I began Screen Printing. Established my first Screen Print business called Hotfoot Productions in my garage in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 2017 after 18 years on the West Coast, I moved east to be close to my family here in Pawcatuck and Stonington, Connecticut. In 2017 I established My Screen Print Guy formally Hotfoot Productions and began Printing for the local community, while continuing to build my brands, the newest being “Hook&Fin” based in Stonington, Connecticut, and inspired by the local fishermen and fisherwomen of the last remaining active East Coast, Portuguese fishing village community in which I am blessed to live.
