It is new has been there for 2 months and since my first visit I loved it. The pasta is all hand made, the flavors in their sauce are amazing the price is really nice. You can have a full lunch for 200kr though I will recommend to share a starter or have a dessert. I am in love with their raviolis and the bread they make is awesome. They are open for lunch for the first time this week. The place is lovely super well decorated, it is cozy, the music is nice, the service is very good. Don't miss the coffee and the tiramisu it is amazing. They have a nice list of wines I love their Nebbiolo and you can get most of the wines by the glass. They have parking outside. And of course just beside strandvejen so it is always a nice tour. Definitely go try it!!

One star for the hour and a half we waited in line for that soft ice. With three other ice cream shops within a block, you really should consider how much your time is worth, and whether you're losing money by waiting that long for three times the amount of soft ice that any human being really should be eating in the first place. On average: Three stars. Try it once to say you've done it, run all the way home to burn off the calories you just consumed (unless home is across the street, then run up to Louisiana and back) and then go somewhere else the next time. Or better yet, go during the winter, when there's never anyone in line. An even better bet if you have the means to get there: Ismageriet in Amager. Less chemicals, more real organic freshly made ice cream (some flavors even accommodate diabetics and food allergy sufferers!), much faster service, and there's a really cute old fashioned truck outside that'll look great even without an Instagram filter. ;) Pro-tip: Lydolph only accepts cash (no credit cards or Dankort).

Today my mum tried ordering a breakfast plate and was yelled at by the man working at the counter when she asked why the egg system was so corrupt. They serve very little food here. There's only really cheese and bread and there is supposedly meant to be eggs. Personally, my brother and I usually go to the nice Lakaghuset next door for our food and we just get a semi-decent drink from Emmerrys. We have had so many bad and disappointing dining experiences at this particular Emmerrys and everytime we say we do not want to come back but my mum likes it here for some reason. Emmerys is in a prime location in the middle of Strandvejen with a lot of property to build the cafe on. They have put this space to waste and could be using it for much more if the staff here focused and put in more work. Emmerys is an okay cafe but there are much better ones on Strandvejen which I would suggest going to.
