I think this place is only good for little poodles; I'm not sure why they call it a wellness place!!! I scheduled a grooming session for my two dogs with what I believe is the owner and clearly communicated that my younger dog suffers from social anxiety and I do not know how she will do with grooming. I requested either the earliest or latest appointment time to minimize stress for her. Despite being a small pomsky weighing 20 pounds not a pitt or scary big dog, my dog's anxiety requires special consideration. The owner offered us a 3:00 PM appointment, assuring me that we would be the last clients and that no other dogs would be present. She even said both dogs to come at the same time, and I would get a reminder text the day before. I called in today to confirm today since i did not get a reminder text. She stated that the appointment was still on, but I was asked to reschedule for 1:45 PM. I was initially open to this change, though I expressed concerns about the presence of another dog, given my dog's history of being attacked by an unleashed dog. I informed her that I would muzzle my small dog as a precaution, but this led to the cancellation of both appointments. She simply just said i think this is a vet visit !!! Lady i explained to you all this through text when i made the appointment! While I understand the need for safety and i would of been fine with her canceling for one dog but the abrupt cancellation of both appointments, particularly when my other dog, who has no such issues, was also affected, was disappointing. I feel that my concerns about the pomsky could have been managed in a way that still allowed my other dog's appointment to proceed. You obviously forgot about the appointment. You tried to reschedule it, then canceled at the last minute when you were given all this information day 1, which basically wasted my time. ask the questions that are needed from the start. Do better! and learn to be respectful of others. read more

My Pet Parlor was a such a fantastic find because my standard pet groomer was closed on Saturday and another local groomer was full and "not taking any new clients for a very long time". Nicole's pet parlor is more of a "pet spa" (with essential oils being diffused) and a cute little place with one grooming station. Nicole is really good with dogs and my furry child had her nails clipped quickly but also carefully. I liked that she took her time and even cleaned Sunnie's ears. Nicole also sells cute little bows and has adorable decorations. It was super easy to make an appointment through YELP and there was plenty of parking (it is paid but you literally put in your license plate and it calculates per hour). I will definitely return back to My Pet Parlor next time my furry child needs her nails clipped. Thank Nicole! read more

I took my pups to My Pet Parlor for the first time. I was previously going to another groomer and they never seem to cut their nails and would complain to me that my dogs are matted and i need to bring them back more often. I wish i could do that but I'm tight on money. My dogs also left the previous groomer scared and i didn't like that. Nicole and Tara from My Pet Parlor are wonderful. Nicole has great customer service and made me feel very comfortable. I could tell she took her time with my dogs. I've never seen their nails cut so short and they seemed very calm and happy when i picked them up! They looked so adorable and she even made them look like the pictures I sent her. I would say she is the best groomer they have had and I have been to at 5 different places. She said she had fun grooming my dogs! I love that! Thank you so much for making my dogs happy and cute! I'm absolutely thrilled I found Nichole Owner of My Pet Parlor, she was very accommodating to work with my schedule and get my Pomeranian Lala in. It's not your typical set up of a grooming salon and that's what makes it sooo much better, very clean and organized in a garden apt. She does one pet at a time and they don't get put in a cage to wait their turn, loved how my Lala was groomed bow and all, I can see how she loves what she does and loves animals. Adorable little place! It's obvious the owner Nicole knows what she's doing, and that she adores dogs. My dog doesn't need grooming but we go there for nail trimming (she fights me) and to express her anal glands. We don't need an appointment for that which is good because she's always in the middle of grooming a dog. Nicole is super nice and very no nonsense and the entire process takes 5-10 minutes tops. Today she said the nails weren't very long and she didn't charge me! Who would do that? I love the little store, it's clean and inviting and even smells good. I highly recommend it! read more

First time I've ever left a review, but I couldn't resist how wonderful Nicole is. We've only been there once but my dog won't do stairs anymore. He is 75LBS and she picked him up and carried him down the stairs. I don't know of any place that would go thru the trouble.
