Ever since my pomeranian Micheal died (we miss you micheal!) I have been struggling to cope with the WEIGHTS that life throws at you. So I decided, what other way to LIFT this burden than to pump some iron. I came fully decked out in my sweatsuit and I was ready to kick butt! I mainly stayed near the free weight area to do curls. My little buggy whips were soon becoming pythons. It didn't take long for me to tuckered out as I usually only get in my exercise during grape harvest season. I packed my bag with all of my goodies and decided to head out. This place can turn even the smallest pencil neck (like me) into a sheet of solid steel. Toodleoo!

Jazzercise is the best, especially at the Berea Rec Center! Those who have never taken a class…read moreprobably smile and raise an eyebrow, underestimating how challenging the workouts are. Jazzercise is much more than "bouncing around." It's a total body workout incorporating aerobics, strength, core, and flexibility training plus stretching and cool down. The music and routines are updated on a regular basis, so classes are never boring. In addition, Jazzercise offers various formats, including Dance Mixx, Strength 60, Interval, Fusion, and more. Equally important, students don't have to do high impact to get a good workout. Instructors demonstrate modifications to accommodate those who can't or don't want to "jump and bounce." Speaking of instructors, all are highly trained and monitored for "quality control." Our Berea instructors are true professionals, always well prepared but also personable and fun. An added perc -- our class managers are welcoming, and the other students are friendly. It's pretty easy to find "Jazzerbuddies" to make workouts even more enjoyable. Classes include all ages, fitness levels, and body types, too. There is no judging or body shaming. Ever. I've been Jazzercising my entire adult life and can't imagine quitting. I'll probably still be coming to class in my eighties! That would be awesome!

When I first started the program I weighed in at 109lbs (very small, no muscle or strength) I am currently at 120lbs of pure muscle and strength. Garrett didn't just help me physically get stronger but mentally also. Throughout my life I always lacked confidence in myself by thinking I would never get stronger or have the body i dreamed of but when I met Garrett everything changed. I started seeing results within a month of working with him. I never knew how to deadlift correctly, what "push" or "pull"meant let alone know what workouts target which muscles. He motivates me everyday to get better and stronger and I am truly so grateful for that. Garrett has made me realize putting in the work and effort really can change your life and the way you see yourself as a person. I still have a lot more to learn and overcome but without All in Fitness I wouldn't be where I am today. Thank you Garrett for always pushing me physically and mentally, I can't wait to see what the next 6 months beings!
