If you're taller than 4'11 BEWARE ! I am giving two stars because the PEOPLE there are the only reason worth going. It WAS NOT scary there were CHILDREN IN LINE, three 8yr olds were behind us. The animatronic were giving discounted spirit Halloween. My partner had done a ruck HOURS before going (18miles with 25+ pounds on this chest under 4hrs) he was tired sore and his ankle was alittle sad but he was a trooper and stood in line for OVER AN HOUR no complaints. The haunted house makes you walk in a single file line. The walk ways are very narrow and they give you REUSED flimsy glasses to alter your vision. Going into the haunted house it's dark but the ground is FLAT, midway the ground goes to an incline and then declines and that happens over and over again then it suddenly SLANTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN that is the reason my husband limped out of the haunted house. I went through this awesome haunted house last night and it was amazing. All the actors were super good at their job. I took the fast pass route which I would suggest little extra and you go to the front of the line. It got kind of cramped in some areas which added to the creepy fun. The bloody asylum side was awesome and the artistic 3D side was super cool. I plan on going back next year and the year after that. read more

My husband and I visited this attraction last night. We immediately wanted to go back in to experience it again. The first few minutes is like any other haunted house we have been visited. The details in 3D left us questioning reality. After multiple screams and a fun dark maze, we exited with massive smiles on our faces. If you cannot tell, we highly recommend My Morbid Mind. Quick notes for new visitors: Dress appropriate for the weather. If it's raining there is a chance you will get wet. There are port-a-potties at the front of the building. There is parking behind the house and it's free. Be careful in the parking lot. We saw lots of children running around (not part of the house). (Inside) At times it's bright, dark or super loud...if that's not your thing...don't go. No need to give a bad review because you don't like the lighting or music. My husband and I stood in line for over 3 hours for this place and oh my god it was NOT worth it! What they don't tell you is after waiting in line to get your tickets, you have an additional line to wait in. (Hence why they sell water, soda, and candy). After waiting a long 3+ hours we went through probably the most laughable and half assed haunt we have ever been to. The first half you wear 3D glasses and walk through this (I don't even know what to call it) where you do not get jump scared at all. Instead you get some air and people pathetically saying (raaah). Then you get stopped halfway through by some lady who just blatantly sprays you in the face with a water bottle while you're standing in front of her. Then you walk through a series of random things where you don't get jump scared what so ever, instead the actors just walk around like mopey zoo animals.... And the last part!? WTF? It's like they couldn't figure out what else to do. I'm sorry, I'm really not trying to exaggerate, but this haunt was just downright awful. My husband and I are huge haunted house goers, and have been to them all over the state. Today we drove over 2 hours for pure disappointment. The only thing I would warn people about is there's places where the floor drops out from under you it's only a short drop but nobody expected it and so we had a fall happen while going through. Be prepared to wait in line for at least an hour, not a complaint it just is what it is. Once it was our turn walked through the entire thing in less than 15 minutes. Maybe I'm spoiled from haunted attractions from the east coast, so this one was mediocre. Props however for the 3D glasses with the black lights and neon paint. Towards the end there is an extremely long and narrow maze with sharp turns in the PITCH BLACK, do not go if you are claustrophobic! There are areas where you have to stoop to walk and complete black corridors with steep inclines and drops. I get the need for the shock value but some of the areas are down right dangerous. Dress warm and if it's raining wear something water resistant, the last half is uncovered from the elements. read more

This place honestly looked super cool me and my girlfriend were stoked to come and enjoy a NEW to us haunt. Well we bought fast pass tickets to enjoy the night sooner the entire time in line I had a couple breathing down my neck, I had gotten up to the front of the line had waited patiently not saying anything to anyone and then the person scanning the tickets so happened to be the manager walked past my group of three and proceeded to let the two groups behind me through even after I spoke up and then sent me to the counter to take even more time. In conclusion the actors were fantastic the actual haunt was great. The reason it gets a 1 star from me is because the manager is completely awful, they'd be best rethinking management. read more

My only complaint would be not waiting long enough between guests because everyone ends up getting bunches up and then you are just standing in line inside the haunted house. Man I love haunted houses and this one did not disappoint!! The rooms were very detailed and holy moly did they make me scream so many times!! The fast pass was definitely worth it as the regular line was a 2 hour wait. There are some tight spaces, really dark rooms and other fun surprises! I can't wait to come back next year!!! read more

This was my first visit to My Morbid Mind, so we weren't sure what to expect. The exterior is a barn, but the inside hosts a labyrinth of horrors! Parking is in the back and free, so this is a plus. Upon entering, you will approach the ticket counter where you can purchase tickets as well as snacks and My Morbid Mind t-shirts. I'm pretty sure it's cash only, so don't forget to stop by the ATM before going! Admission varies depending on the day of the week; Friday is slightly less expensive than Saturday. Military and student discounts are offered, and coupons can be found in a local Lacey publication as well as select businesses. There is also a bundle package for $22 which gives you admission and a My Morbid Mind t-shirt. I've heard this place gets busy, so be prepared to wait. If you're in a hurry, they offer a VIP Hot Lane Pass which will get you to the front of a line for an extra fee. And don't throw out your ticket stub...you can redeem it at LimeBerry Frozen Yogurt for 4 oz of free yogurt! Once the tour begins, things get very dark. There are lots of sound effects, strobe lights, and black lights. The decorations are creepy and the actors do a great job. The entire walk-through took us approximately 15 minutes. We were surprised at just how many twists and turns there were. The outside of the building is quite deceiving! The path can be very narrow at times and could be a problem for anyone who has difficulty walking. Some of the paths are on an incline and a few areas require a person to crouch down to get through, so balance is key! When going through the attraction, I noticed that the actors enjoy lurking behind the last person in the group more than the leader of the group, so beware if you're at the rear! The whole horror experience comes to an end at an outdoor corn maze, which makes the visitor feel like they are in the middle of a horror movie not knowing what lurks around the corner and behind the stalks. All in all, this is a great haunted attraction and a must for any horror enthusiast! read more

My Morbid Mind Olympia, WA Reviewed 10/17/09 If you plan to see this haunt, check your directions BEFORE venturing out. Map quest sent us to Marvin NW and we missed the haunt being opened. Once we did arrive, the owner Kevin Noah graciously led us through a light on tour. First thing I noticed was that the ticket office was inside the building; this is a GREAT feature with our wet Washington weather. The haunt features a tilt room, a "squish" room, a dot room and ends with a camo maze. There were plenty of pneumatics and eye candy, with actors, light & sounds in place this haunt must be totally creepy. My vote is to take the drive to Olympia to check it out. Thank goodness we got there right at 7 because the lines were getting long. I really liked how they brought you into a room to tell you the rules with a little humor added. On the website it stated that this was not a kid friendly place...Well I saw a lot of kids that were young....But to the plus side they made sure that there was enough time between each group. Im kind of a horror/haunted house junkie. Ive worked in 4 different haunts and walked through about 40+ even traveled to see some different ones. I was super excited for this I got fast passes a long while ago back in September. Me and my significant other and my best friend and his significant other all went on Halloween night. The wait was the best part of the whole thing we had no wait at all in the fast pass line we both got a couple sweatshirts for 34$ each and got super pumped to walk through. But there were barely any actors and the ones we did get were very cheap jump scares there were some rooms that were very well decorated and others that looked like they were a after thought. They had us wear very cheap 3D glasses that worked for the first 30 seconds then they would steam up cause of the masks we had to wear and almost everyone behind me kept dropping them. There was a check point halfway through to spread the groups out we told her the glasses kept falling off she just said yeah we know people have been complaining about them for awhile now. The worst part was the last half of the haunt is literally just a pitch black maze. It was super repetitive and at the end the chainsaw guy chased us in the wrong way and then completely broke character and just started talking to us. This place is great! One of the scariest places I've been. The downside I would have to say is that I did not know part of their scare tactics was small spaces. I have horrible claustrophobia and it was unpleasant to have a mild anxiety attack and not knowing when I would get out. My only suggestion is that you put a warning about that. read more

This place was not what I expected at all. Their Facebook and website indicated that it was over the top terrifying and scary. A real gore fest that didn't make exceptions for small children or women. It sounded like my kind of thing being a huge horror movie fan and easily scared when the mood is right. We found a $2 off ticket in a local publication. After waiting 15 minutes in line to pay we then moved into a large barn and proceeded to wait there for an additional hour. It was a bit cold waiting in line and there no bathrooms in sight. Getting out of line and going to your car to get something is tricky and you can probably count on losing your spot in line. After waiting an hour in the barn we then walled in to a small room decorated like a foyer with morphing pictures. It reminded me of the foyer of the haunted mansion in Disneyland. I was pretty impressed with the dressings as it looked like they spent a lot of dough to keep up a good theme as well as quality throughout the attraction. I was wrong. The rest of the maze left something to be desired. We were not scared at all. Some of the cast/workers literally crouched down in the middle of the path to stand up and try to scare after you noticed them about 15 feet away. The other rooms were inconsistent with the foyer waiting area. They were sloppy and junky. Nothing technical was used other than a bit of air being sprayed at you and glow in the dark paint. Too many hallways just painted black. Give me blood dripping down the walls. Give me a room with knives hanging from the ceiling. Give me Hellraiser, Saw, Michael Myers, a spider room, an alien room. We live in Washington...how about Vampire Edward gone scary? TruBlood? No creativity. The baby room was horrid. I was kind of excited about it from their weebsite but all it ended up being was dirty plastic dolls sitting in a crib and then dolls on shelves that shook. Where was the mother eating her child? Where was the child killing its mom? Chuckie? Nothing. The make-up on the cast was lame. White make-up with dark circles on everyone or a "Scream" mask or something eqaully as lame. Nothing creative. The pictures on their facebook of their cast were no where to be found in the maze. Where was the fake blood, decaying faces, etc? Nowhere! One guy in the corn maze section literally tried scaring people by saying "boo". The most frustrating part of the experience was the layout. It is a great deal larger than you think from looking at it from the outside, which is great. It takes about 15 minutes to get through the maze/house/barn. If you have any problems waking up stairs or down steep ramps or if you have problems crouching down this is not the place for you. There was one section that was a steep 4ft ramp up with a sharp turn and an immediate 4ft ramp down. This continues for about 4 turns or so. It was very dangerous considering it was pitch black with nothing to light the floor. It is amazing that no one has seriously injured themselves. The tight hallways and low ceiling were cool but the ramps were very dangerous and there are not any warnings posted regarding the danger. I did love the fact that a some of the maze is pitch black. It does make it creepier but when you end up wandering off into the cast waiting section (backstage?) it takes away the mood. We literally couldn't figure out where to go a few times and the element of suprise was runied on more than one occasion due to being frustrated with not being able to proceed in the correct direction. I want to say that they had an off night. It felt like they didn't have anyone working but I know this wasn't the case as it was the last Saturday before Halloween at 9pm. This guy may claim to be a Hollywood special effects artist but he is far from it. (If you have ever been to Knotts Scary Farm or Universal Haunt don't waste your time here). If this is your first time going through a maze go for it but don't expect to get scared. read more

Overall a cool place, the outside is very deceiving though. Once you get in there are twists and turns and rooms get smaller. Two things killed the mood for me our group was stopped for about 10 Minutes because a kid from the previous ground lost his glasses. Great little scare for a decent price ($11 on a Thursday)! I defiantly would not recommend bringing children here. There were a few spots where the ground inclines and declines so be careful when walking around. Overall great scare that took my small group about 20 minutes to walk through.
