When we arrived to move his stuff in, the house was still full of the seller items, even a fridge full of food. Also, the house had not been cleaned AT ALL, like cat food in the bathroom and dog hair filling the kitchen! It was a really unfortunate situation for someone moving into their first home. What was expected to be such an exciting time moving in turned out to be 12+ hours of cleaning before even getting his stuff in. I have had nothing but bad experiences with Homestead Road on both sides of working with them…read more On the seller side they give lowball cash offers, and try to leverage a sellers minimal understanding of the housing market to get houses cheap so they can resell. I know numerous people they have taken advantage of in this way. On the buyer side, the agents are slow to communicate and follow sketchy listing practices. (One house I saw listed by them was put on $100k above market value then re-listed every few days with $10k mark downs) the houses are often listed improperly (ex. 3B, 3BA homes with only 1 legally compliant bedroom that isn't disclosed in the listing) I've even seen agents who don't want to present their clients counter offers (which they are legally obliged to do) because it's a "waste of time". If you looking to buy or sell, I would stay away from here.

You screw people out of their deposits. had i not fought it, you would have only provided me 940 out of 2000. For nail holes I didn't even put in the property and have photos to prove it. Attached is the "proof" they provided. Expect them to take your deposit for turn overs. Document everything and be ready for court! The only thing removed should have been the last water bill. Not over $1000. You still withheld over $400 of my deposit with ZERO evidence, no matter how many times i asked.

We had a great 30-year rate already, but we wanted to take advantage of the low rates. I called and checked online with 7 different mortgage companies and I'm so thankful we chose First Class Mortgage. Not only did they offer the best rate and lowest closing costs of the other companies, but they offered assurance that if the loan process took longer than expected (which is common with the low interest rates right now), they would take care of it and we wouldn't have to pay extra to continue locking in the rate. This was something none of the other companies were willing to do. Thankfully, their team processed our loan as quickly as possible. They made the process so very simple; we were able to do everything except the closing (which was also perfect) in person. They were clear about everything from the beginning and answered every question we had. They communicated with us every step of the way so that there were no surprises. To top it all off, despite telling us our rate would be locked in and couldn't be reduced, their team was able to get our rate down from 2.375% to 2.25%! WOW!
