I was going on a road trip and my brake lights were shorting out. I needed it fixed the same day. I called them and they agreed to help. They were clearly booked up for the day but still were swilling to help. I could tell that the employees had a culture of helping and I really appreciate it. They fixed the light and charged a reasonable price. They didn't have the broken connector on hand and were able to hard wire the light. When they done I saw the mechanic hustling to catch up with other customers. If I lived in Klamath Falls, I'd go here for all my car needs. read more

It doesn't make sense why you'd take my car and not repair it because you don't have the tools to repair it. On top of that I'm paying for parts and labor that had no part in the repair of my vehicle. Very disappointing to pay $900 for a vehicle that is not fixed! I expect mechanics to know what they can and can not fix! It would be a good idea to diagnose the problem and make sure you are able to even work on the specific type of car prior to working on it. read more

Took my vehicle in to look for a oil leak. Had to have the vehicle towed to someone else in ordered to be fixed. They broke the distributor, coil and blew the main computer. All the just for an oil leak!! The people were nice just a bad business to deal with, go some where else before this happens to YOU! Incompetent, dishonest, novices. I took an old/ high-mileage Ford Explorer to this place, against my better judgement, only because my parents had made an appointment for inspection, and we're insistant. I told Greg, that I don't want to waste time or pay for inspection. I told him a long list of what I am aware is wrong with this vehicle. I explained to him that I have a fuel line leaking, as the fuel filter repair kit HOSE cracked. (They wrote in the invoice, that I said the "clip" cracked). According to the invoice, a technician, not a mechanic, inspected my vehicle, and determined that the fuel line could not be repaired; and that the entire fuel line, from the tank to engine needed to be replaced. This would have to come from a salvage yard. $500-600 was the spoken estimate (Greg). After a week and various excuses, no work had been started, other than inspecting beyond fuel line issue, as I instructed not to. I towed my truck away, after paying a bill of $88, for an unqualified tech to do nothing! My invoice also states that the tech "found that battery tests bad". This is not true. Turn Thom Point S fixed my truck for less than $200, and did not have to replace the entire fuel line. Also, my tow truck driver said that this is not the first time he has towed someone away from this place, after they could not fix their car. Only go here if you like wasting time and money. read more

My Mechanic saved our road trip! We were travelling south from Tulelake when we lost oil pressure and had to have AAA tow us back to K-Falls. Long-story-short, My Mechanic was one of the three names that relatives in the area gave us. We called all three places and My Mechanic was able to do at least the diagnostic that day; the other shops weren't even going to look at the car until the end of the week... Waiting was not an option, as we are from the Sacramento area and needed to get home. My Mechanic staff were very understanding and helpful in getting the diagnostic done. Thank God the fix was a relatively simple one and they were able to get the part, get it installed, and even clean up a lot of the oil that had sprayed under the car when the oil sensor failed. Last week I had my Lexus towed in. We waited a long time just dreading bringing it in, so it sat in the garage for weeks. No power after giving it gas. We were waiting for the bad news of "total Tran replacement" But to our amazement, Eric called with "only a non functioning coil, $289.47" I replied "You are kidding right?" $151.00 to fix a passenger side brake light! And it had to be brought in twice for this and the 12 month warranty was not honored from the first"repair"! Rear hazards haven't worked since the first "repair" in janurary ! Issue was reported to them and never addressed. I was totally blown away by their total disregard for their own warranty and my safety without a rear brake light and no rear hazard lights! It's all about money. Plus the single green wire left hanging down past the bumper which appeared after the 1st "repair" is still hanging down after the 2nd! read more

So I read the first review and had to write my own. My Mechanic has excellent customer service. We've been taking our vehicles there for a few years now, and have never had a problem. Prices are reasonable, it's a small business (good to support), friendly people work there, the waiting room is nice, and they do a good job. We get our oil changed there routinely, and have had tune-ups and other services done. It says something positive about a business when they have a loyal customer base and you have to call for an appointment because they're busy (but not so busy they can't work you in). read more

Came here to have a simple part replaced that would have taken 15 minutes or less. The receptionist wanted me to wait five days and pay $75. Yeah right! I found another shop (Bud's Repair Services) that replaced the part same day, just before closing, for FREE! We stopped for fuel while travelling through Klamath Falls on our way to Bend. Steam came rolling out from under the hood and when I checked, I had a small hole in the small by-pass hose. I got directions to a parts store and on the way saw a Jiffy Lube. I stopped to ask if they did that kind of work and was directed to this WONDERFUL place a few blocks away. This place has been provided outstanding care. I've been to My Mechanic on and off for about a year now. They first assisted me with a brake issue and then with an oxygen sensor, but what encouraged me to write this review was what occurred during the last 24 hours. While I was at school Monday, my car crapped out in the parking lot and when I called My Mechanic around 3, they informed me that I could drop it off but they wouldn't get to it until the next day which I totally understood since they closed in a couple hours anyways and I didn't even have an appointment to bring it in. I brought my car in on a tow truck and left it overnight, and then received a call around 2 PM Tuesday explaining what was wrong with it and that it would be ready in an hour. I was so relieved to get the issue fixed promptly, especially since I just kinda barged in with my car issues without having a formal appointment and they took care of me in a timely manner. Very friendly people.... I had a blown out A/C compressor on my way to Idaho. Even though they confirmed my worse fears and could not fix it because of a lack of new parts ( not their fault) their estimate was very fair and the time they could of fixed was very fast...
