My favorite way to hire great cleaners is through recommendations from friends and family, but I was browsing online and came across the reviews for My Maids. I was surely impressed by what others had to say, so decided to take a chance and call. Office got in touch with me promptly. The manager asked for details about the job and gave me an hourly estimate. The prices that she quoted me were very fair. Especially if their work as good as the previous reviews indicated. We then worked on finding a time that worked for both of us. I had two days to get the cleaning done, and her schedule during the week was busy but she said her team was willing to work the Friday to take the job, that really shows how they go above and beyond to accommodate customer needs. The day of the cleaning, Brittany and her team did an awesome job. They showed up on time, and even though the job took a little longer than expected there was just a lot of work to finish they remained focused and dedicated from beginning to end. It was a good two and a half hours for three of them. The quality of their work was top notch and there is no cutting corners here and the team was super courteous. A++ for that, not a lot of service industries are that way any more. When I'm ready to hire a regular cleaning service, I'm will be definitely calling My Maids back soon. read more

Amanda and her team are INCREDIBLE! We had a rental town home cleaned. We heard great reviews from friends and hired them. We told them the home was in a bad shape and needed some extensive cleaning including oven and refrigerator. I am picky about using eco friendly products as well, you should have seen the condition of the shower and tub, my god...it was hard working ladies who got right to work, they were so polite and courteous. Finished their work on time and we did a walk through and it went absolutely fantastic. It was such a pleasure see the state of that home after they have been there - everything fresh and clean. They bring all their own supplies, making it hassle free. Also, they don't mind cleaning pet friendly homes, one that is so hard to find. Super convenient, we arrange visits over the website text for arrivals and departures. They even do small things that are so big - folding towels, taking trash, cleaning small appliances, emptying the coffeemaker, making a cute little patterns on the carpet. I had a BAD renter break their lease and move out suddenly leaving my rental house trashed. I was a embarrassed to call in a service but was in a pinch and didn't have a lot of options. I'm talking muddy dog prints, dirty tubs, filthy bathrooms. I was really upset they'd treated my place so poorly. I was very pleased with the job My Maids did. They came in unsupervised and in just over 2 hours had a really filthy house, turned into a really clean house. It was amazing. My favorite thing is that they came in and did the work without my supervisions and it was very clean the first time. I really recommend using My Maids and have referred them to several of my professional and personal associates. I know that there was a change in ownership recently, and after reading two very poorly written reviews, by the same family, I have to say my experience didn't resemble theirs in any way shape or form. We were vacationing in Jacksonville and wanted a fast and good housekeeping service to clean up before we left. I came across My Maids in yelp and called them. The Manager was very courteous and immediately scheduled an appointment for us at our convenient time. The maids arrived in time and took care of business right away. As we were vacationing with children the house was quite messy, with food spills and juice stains on the carpet, the maids brought their own cleaning products and were very professional. They had the whole house cleaned in the scheduled time, they didn't try to drag their feet or delay. I was a little apprehensive about the charge as the manager said that she would charge by the hour. However I realized that they were extremely professional and completed the work in the scheduled time and did a through job. They had gotten all the stains and the quality of work was SUPER! I had never used any type of cleaning service before. I have always managed to keep my house clean and keep up with my family and home business. However, this year with a great economy my business has just exploded and my house had suffered for it. My Maids did the best job cleaning my house ever I called them in order to help me get ready for my family visiting for the holidays. They were able to schedule me for the next day and arrived promptly. By the time I returned from my errands and only an hour into their cleaning, I walked into a house smelling so good instead of chemicals and bleach. Toxic work environment. Unequal work opportunities. Favoritism is a big issue at this company. Toxic filled work staff. Management is absolutely horrendous. Management will lie to their clients. Ex: How many girls will show up to a house to clean. Management also buys dollar tree products and waters down products so they can save money. Everything I asked them to do was done to perfection, they also cleaned places I never thought about. They brought their own cleaning products and used them! I have used My Maids for over 20 years. They hire very professional and honest ladies. I've never been concerned with having them in my house. They clean ceiling fans, window sills, baseboards, beds, floors, etc. Only one time in 20 years did I call to say our bathroom wasn't as clean as I would like it.
