After initially contacting them, they asked me to send pictures of my home so they could evaluate the cost of the service. Following several exchanges via email and phone, they scheduled a team of two cleaners to come to my home for an initial cleaning, which was intended to be repeated bi-weekly. When the team arrived, their demeanor felt uncomfortable from the beginning. They seemed somewhat cold and distant, and I felt as though they were looking down on me. While my home certainly needed routine cleaning, such as vacuuming and dusting - it was not cluttered or excessively dirty. There were no conditions that could reasonably be described as hazardous or unsanitary. I asked the team to use my personal vacuum cleaner rather than one brought from other homes, as I prefer not to use equipment that may have been used in houses with pets or children. I also have a high-quality vacuum cleaner that works very well. They agreed and began cleaning, though their reserved behavior continued. At first, I assumed they were simply quiet or reserved by nature. However, the situation changed when one of the cleaners entered my bedroom and saw a photograph of my stepdaughter, who is Black. For context, I am Asian. After seeing the photograph, the cleaner suddenly said, "I can't deal with this. I can't do this." When I asked what she meant and requested clarification, she simply said, "All of this," and walked out of my home. Shortly afterward, I received a call from Jennifer from the company, who said, "I'm so sorry, it didn't work out. This is more than we were expecting." Because the cleaning was not completed, I asked about the charges, and they assured me that I would not be billed. The behavior of the cleaning team was shocking and deeply upsetting. I left the interaction feeling as though I had somehow done something wrong, even though I had done nothing inappropriate. After this experience, I contacted Two Maids, and Ivette coordinated a team to come to my home. Their team was kind, professional, and welcoming from the moment they arrived. They had no issues using my vacuum cleaner, in fact, they complimented it. They cleaned my home thoroughly from top to bottom. I was extremely pleased with their service. Based on my experience, I would recommend Two Maids over Sparkle Cleaning Service.

I was honestly a little skeptical since Pierre didn't have any Yelp reviews but he was very responsive via Yelp's messaging and the other people that responded said "Please check our webpage" and that was it. So far so good. I then checked him out on google and found he had some reviews there, all good there. So I booked him. To give a little back gound our car inside was *dirty*. We have two kids under 5 and it seems they make it a mission to make the back seat as dirty as possible. Chips dumped everywhere, mud/snow, yogurt, footprints on the doors and back of seats, baby vomit etc you name it our poor new car has seen it since we got it last year. The floor mats were soiled with dried snow and mud. So day of the service Pierre's communication was top notch, he texted that he was running about 15 min late but when he arrived he was all business while still being super nice. He wore a mask when I was showing him the car, which i appreciated. He also was very thorough. He quoted 4 hours, but due to the state of the car it took a bit longer. When he wrapped up we did a walk around together and then I paid him and that was that. Everything looks at good as new! I would recommend him for anyone looking for car cleaning.

They send in a team of people and rotate which at times can lead to some consistency issues, but overall not a big issue. If there is anything that I am concerned with, they are quick to resolve. I am not comfortable letting people into my home without my presence and finding out the time was changed by 4+ hours the day of the service was not working. Lots of promises made but not kept. This week I received an invoice for work that was not performed back in May. If they continued to clean for me through July why would they decide I had not paid the proper amount months back? I did pay the correct amount on the day of the cleaning, as evidenced by the check and receipt being photographed by the cleaning team. When I called to question this invoice I spoke to a young woman who said she would have a manager call me back. They have not called back so I assume they realize how idiotic this invoice truly is. My belief is they promise good work on a specific day and time, follow that rule for a month or two and then gradually slack off on the specifics when you are already comfortable with their work. It is a lot of work to find another cleaning service, but I was tired of being switched without notice and having to change my own full schedule to accommodate their whims. I have since found another service who follows through with their promises.
