A-Z The Right Way - Haul out service

A-Z The Right Way

We walked around the yard and I expressed what I wanted from the services and what he offered. He got back to me that same night with the quote and I asked when he was available and he said the next morning. He showed up as he said he would and got to work around 9am. 4:30pm rolls around and he said he was going to get a bigger tarp to haul the brush away with. Came back and he did just that. I got home from an errand and walked my yard to find he was gone but a bunch of debris leftover that he didn't even do anything with, he left a bush half cut out(his chain snapped and he decided he couldn't do anything with the rest), a bunch of weeds that didn't get pulled along with many other things. I messaged him and he explained he didn't have anymore room on his truck and said he meant to message me to tell me he'd be back in the morning and I said that would be great. It's been over a week now and he never came back to finish the job. So i essentially paid him $165 just to mow my lawn and not even do half of the spring clean up. 10/10 would not recommend. Very disappointed.

He is by far one of the best craftsmen in the area. He and his team were fast, efficient, on schedule, and completed the job in three days. He returned to check that everything was accurate, tight, and waterproofed. He is a consummate professional that I would trust with any job. The best of the best. I could not be happier.

He's not just a contractor we considered him a family aquaintence through his wife. We had one goal to move on before snow. He took 2 weeks after start date to get in our house and do work. But no biggy because he's a perfectionist. Right? Wrong. When I questioned him about being able to see drywall joints he threw a hissy fit and threatened to leave the job after being paid for some. After that day his work became sub par much worse than it already was. To this day we are still finding issues. $600 cabinets that aren't able to open because his capacity to look forward and see that trim would be blocking them was lacking. Our doors don't shut and there is a draft. Great during -20 degree weather and winter Right? We spent hundreds on trim and I spent hours staining it just to have to put it up crooked and split. He left 2 rooms untrimmed even though he agreed to do it. He rigged our electric stove wiring which seems like it could be unsafe. He left gaps between drywall joints. Couldn't put a toilet back on properly without it leaking all over. He cracked or split at a minimum of 5 of the 600 cabinets putting them up. The walls he put up are crooked and lean. If you ever run into this "man " I would look else where. To top it off he left a huge like of garbage he was supposed to take. Screws all over my yard and I end up getting a flat tire. And now to top it off the hack of a "contractor" that claims to be an anal perfectionist couldn't even put a sink in properly. The idiot couldn't cut pipe to length so he just set it there. Opened up sink to a flood of water. Keep reporting my posts you hack. I'll keep your face and info and shotty work all over social media. You should see how many people say your work sucks on FB.

They didn't even paint it let alone replace it. They were supposed to put in new front steps - 5 times they had to redo the steps. I finally asked the guy - did you put a level on it? The steps were not level. As a homeowner, it is not my job to tell them how they are supposed to do their jobs. They were supposed to replace the decking boards on both my upper and lower decks. Certain boards were replaced - not the entire thing. Mike wanted to paint my decks. Not anything that I wanted, then I am into painting my decks every other year or so. Mike and his crew had to be shown the same areas repeatedly for those areas to be taken care of in the painting of my house and replacing the boards that needed to be replaced. The front steps that were finally replaced to what we agreed upon, Mike or someone from his crew was supposed to come back and paint the pressure treated boards after 6 months. My husband just painted them. This was contracted work. Mike and his crew replaced the privacy fence in my back yard. Too many boards were found after they had left that were either not screwed in entirely or were boards that should not have been used at all as they were warped. I just had a contractor leave here this afternoon - he came and finished up the things that I had discussed with Mike previously that were not done or were broken during Mike's tenure here and not replaced correctly. I had not only had the conversation with Mike when he was here last, but texted him 3 times to come and finish. Mike and his crew contracted to do the jobs I wanted done with half the money up front and the remainder of the money when the job was finished. They came and nickel dimed here and there needing $ for materials, or to pay is crew. When it came time to pay the final bill it was more than I thought it should have been. I had kept records for each check I had written and what it was for - when I showed that to Mike he looked confused. When I asked for a final copy I got some song and dance about their computer not having ink and having left what they did have at their home. Did have Mike come back to haul. Wont do that again either - he over charged me and some of that was for materials that he had left behind. They took the remainder of the boards for the fence that I had purchased and the bucket of white paint with them when they left. These were materials that I had been charged for. Never again - Buyer beware.
