For those who, like myself do not know where to start in searching for the right company to service…read moreyour plumbing and heating, you may take the route of looking at customers' reviews, hoping that it will give you some sense of the company reviewed, if it is going to give you honest, quality service. Well, that is what I did, and based on customers' reviews I decided to take a chance with Pioneer Plumbing & HVAC. Well, hats off to the customers, because based on your comments, I called Pioneer Plumbing & HVAC, and left my name/number and a brief description of my concern and what needed to be done. Was called back shortly after and received SAME DAY service. He (Ryan) was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest! Great price too. As a senior citizen, you have to be careful of what you spend. I don't mind spending what it takes to get a problem done, but it sure can hurt if you spend and the problem is still there. But with Pioneer Plumbing & HVAC all was worth it in other words they did an excellent job beyond price!

Appolo installed new furnace and central a/c unit in my home…read more At the time of the installation, the overflow preventer in the a/c unit was stuck, resulting in flooding my carpeted basement. The initial repair person who came to see what caused the flood was the one who told me that the overflow preventer install caused the flood yet Appolo refused to reimburse me for the insurance deductible. Two years later another (different) company came for routine maintenance and showed me that the original ductwork was poorly designed because there is a rule that there should be 24 inches between secondary ducts and the end of each main line; it is clear on most online descriptions that this is ideal for maximum air flow through the system. When Appoly did the original install I had them come back because the air flow felt insufficient and they told me it was by design because the goal is to run the unit for a long time at a lower air flow for consistent temperature!!

After the install, they had to come back THREE times the first week to repair the brand new furnace . Since then, they have come back on two occasions for routine cleaning. BOTH times, the following day the working furnace no longer worked. The same tech had to come back 1-2 times to fix his own mistakes. The tech had to call other techs within the company to be walked through how to fix the furnace. Issac advertises as 24/7 emergency service but no one will answer the phone after hours--leaving us with no heat on two separate occasions. Once we got ahold of someone they would only schedule us on their "next available"....2 days later. We had to demand same day service--to which they were still late to.

I provided all my contact information and they still included the former owner on appointment reminders. In the fall when they service my furnace they never recorded the service date on the furnace, they did not reseal the hole they used to check for carbon monoxide in the duct work, and they did not properly latch the furnace cover. The quality and value of their work is poor. This month, to make an appointment to have my A/C unit serviced they would only give a 5 hour window (12:00-5:00pm) and then they called the day before (I was at work) to try and come out. This morning, two hours before my scheduled 5-hour window, they called and said they were on their way. I called the office around 10:20am and voiced concern as I was doing other things and wasn't planning on them being here. The representative confirmed the technician was on their way, so I waited at home, and they never showed up. I called the office at 12:48pm and another representative answered and said if the technician didn't get an answer when they called this morning, they moved on. However, the technician left a message that he was on his way to my house and the first representative confirmed that he in fact was on his way. The second representative apologized and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said no, I want them to come today as scheduled, but I will no longer use this business. They also did t vacuum put dryer vent as scheduled. Their quality has continued to decline since the original owners sold the business. I'll be using a local and reputable family owned business from this point forward.
