We recently hired Isaac's for ~$27K worth of work involving a new furnace, new water heating system and new water lines. The project was scheduled shortly after the agreement was made. The old equipment was removed. There was a small leak resulting from the pressure relief. During the project scope, it was overlooked that the pressure difference of the incoming water needed to be controlled. This resulted is a couple of service calls and the cost of an additional valve. Some of this cost was covered by the service plan. There was some difficulty in getting one of the service calls within the agreed 24 hrs but, in the end, Isaac's honored that agreement. Since then there have been no issues. I appreciated the friendliness and expertise of everyone who worked on the equipment. This all occurred while dealing with two deaths in our family making the situation complicated but I didn't have to worry about the work. I would use Isaac's for future work. read more

The last three calls I had with this company, I asked them to remove the prior contact information they had from the account as I bought the house from a family member. I provided all my contact information and they still included the former owner on appointment reminders. In the fall when they service my furnace they never recorded the service date on the furnace, they did not reseal the hole they used to check for carbon monoxide in the duct work, and they did not properly latch the furnace cover. The quality and value of their work is poor. This month, to make an appointment to have my A/C unit serviced they would only give a 5 hour window (12:00-5:00pm) and then they called the day before (I was at work) to try and come out. This morning, two hours before my scheduled 5-hour window, they called and said they were on their way. I called the office around 10:20am and voiced concern as I was doing other things and wasn't planning on them being here. The representative confirmed the technician was on their way, so I waited at home, and they never showed up. I called the office at 12:48pm and another representative answered and said if the technician didn't get an answer when they called this morning, they moved on. However, the technician left a message that he was on his way to my house and the first representative confirmed that he in fact was on his way. The second representative apologized and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said no, I want them to come today as scheduled, but I will no longer use this business. They also did t vacuum put dryer vent as scheduled. Their quality has continued to decline since the original owners sold the business. I'll be using a local and reputable family owned business from this point forward. read more

Poor service. We purchased a new furnace from Isaac. They no-called no-showed on the day of the installation--because it was snowing...in March...in NY. After the install, they had to come back THREE times the first week to repair the brand new furnace . Since then, they have come back on two occasions for routine cleaning. BOTH times, the following day the working furnace no longer worked. The same tech had to come back 1-2 times to fix his own mistakes. The tech had to call other techs within the company to be walked through how to fix the furnace. Issac advertises as 24/7 emergency service but no one will answer the phone after hours--leaving us with no heat on two separate occasions. Once we got ahold of someone they would only schedule us on their "next available"....2 days later. We had to demand same day service--to which they were still late to. read more

Couldn't have been happier with Greg at Isaac heating. We had such a mess and he showed up in a few hours and did a great job fixing our disaster. I couldn't have been more grateful. Good work and super friendly. Considering it was an emergency call in the winter I was very grateful that he was so reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I had an appointment from 12pm-5pm. They called me at 3pm that they can't get my furnace serviced until tomorrow. I told her that I took time off work because I had an appointment. She didn't care, just wanted me to wait for tomorrow. They were recently bought by an investment group that shows their customer service has gone downhill. read more

My mothers furnace stopped working on Wed Jan 5 2022. Thursday i called Issac and they sent out a technician. The tech checked it out and determined that it was the gas control valve, and had to order the part. She waited till Monday, I called to get an eta on part and when will they come out to replace. My mom already paid the $99 for coming out and for further diagnostic testing, and also the labor for installing the new gas contrl valve, which came to approx $450. Now she had to pay for the part which was $430. After that tech (totally different guy) installed and furnace seemed to be working, which was Tuesday he left telling us to cross our fingers. Well that night furnace quit again. I was furious because now she had suffered a week of cold, i called again and they sent out thier senior tech to troubleshoot. This tech changed the ignitor and charged us $240. I belive that the $430 gas valve was probably not bad at all. So after $1120 they had it fixed. Luckily my mom could pay but I wonder if I should have had her do so seeing it was thier mistake during troubleshooting. I want everyone to think twice about Issac's and maybe fine someone else who won't try to fleece an elderly person. read more

Like any other contractor, you need to be weary of Issacs. I had a pilot light out and was told I needed a part that was over $500, final bill $800 with the fees. Being a single woman and the cold temperatures, I had no other choice but to trust him. Then was told I needed a new furnace. Got a high quote from Issacs. The same problem happened again two weeks later...heat went out when I adjusted thermostat. Found a local reputable guy to come and look at it and get another quote. He told me I didn't need a new furnace right away, and said I didn't need that part. Told me not to adjust the thermostat quickly, as it blows the pilot out. So I was probably charged $800 unnecessarily. Issacs is very professional and the most mannerable business I know, BUT, they are contractors and its a hungry world right now. Horrible company to do business with. We had an issue at my 81 year old fathers home not having heat. They sent a technician who believed he fixed the problem, only to have it not be the problem. They sent a second technician the next day who spent two hours and couldn't diagnose the problem. Sent a third technician on a third day who had the problem diagnosed within an hour. Simple fix. Bad pump. I Could not believe that it took three techs to diagnose. I understand being charged full rate for they guy who thought he fixed the problem and actually got warm air flowing (temporarily). I understand being charged full rate for the tech who showed up day three and fixed the issue. I don't appreciate being charged full rate for a guy to show up day two and freely admit he had no idea what was wrong. First 2 visits were $220, last was a flat rate of $470.00. PJ the manager offered an insulting $25.00 discount and denied that his staff misdiagnosed the issue. Ultimately they offered $50 after i complained. So if you don't mind paying full rate for a technician to shrug his shoulders in bewilderment and leave, and appreciate management who clearly takes no pride in getting a job right and keeping customers happy, these are your people! If your business model doesn't allow you to credit customers when your technician can't fix or even diagnose a problem, you have a bad business model. I don't expect every technician to be perfect, but I expect management to be understanding. Will never, ever call this company again. Horrible. And you will notice that their management will not recognize or acknowledge unfavorable reviews, but will break their arms patting themselves on the back when a positive one rolls in. read more

Had a spring maintenance performed on my air conditioner. Ryan B. was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and gave clear explanations. Very impressed! He is young and hasn't been with the company for very long. He gave me more information in the time that he was servicing the air conditioner and answering questions about my furnace then Corning Appliance Corporation has given me with multiple visits and multiple technicians. I will not be returning to Corning Appliance Corporation but will definitely be returning and recommending Isaac!!! read more

Bought a higher end whole house HVAC system for this company. They left an apprentice to install it who hooked up the controller wrong and fried it. Another tech installed the new controller but after a week nothing was working properly. A third tech came out and rewried a few things and everything worked except the humidifier. When the tech cam eout to fix that he said some of the other things weren't properly installed. After a few more service calls everything seemed to work. Two months after the labor warranty experied the AC stopped blowing cold air. I decided to call another company to do the service. The tech from the other company said the system was leaking coolant. He added a leak stop and recharged the system. I paid a lot of money for the "Isaac Experience" and wish I hadn't. read more
