Has anyone visited this place recently? I went in for breakfast to go last week. Oh my gosh! I know prices have gone up everywhere, but a Ham & Cheese omelette was $15.25. A side of home fries was $6.25!!!! An Egg McMuffin type thing was $8.25. Bagel w/cream cheese. $5.25. Small chocolate milk, $4.95. 3 eggs, toast & home fries was $13.75. 2 people with just the eggs, toast, home fries and a small chocolate milk came to $41!!!! Again only eggs, toast, home fries and small chocolate milk for 2!!!!! No meat!! Before tip!! $41. I'm still in shock. No restaurant in our area is this expensive!

I went for some breakfast at My Favorite Deli - I had the Steak, mushroom and onion omelet w/ cheese and my wife had the Berry Belgium which came with strawberries. I had a little trouble finding a spot to park at first, but navigated further down the lot and we were in in a jiff. The place is comfortable and clean with a long deli counter and several small tables as well as bar seating along the sides of the front entrance. The ordering was simple and prices were reasonable. I sat done with a fresh hot cup o' joe and it was nicely flavored. They had international cafe vanilla creamer to add so I tried it and liked that too. The Berry Belgium was piled high with fresh whip cream and had berries intermixed on top. The serving was too large for my wife to finish, but I helped her with that. My steak mushroom onion and cheese omelet was also a large portion with plenty of cheese and tender steak - the mushrooms were tasty and had the sauteed flavor with the onions adding a little to the overall deliciousness. The omelet came with homefries and my choice of bread. I chose the whole wheat toast which was fresh and the homefries were well cooked and not overdone -crispy outside and soft inside - just right. We were not able to try the hot cinnamon bun with icing since they ran out, but were able to get a sugar cake which we took home. I was very pleased with the experience. I know I will be back. The place would probably get 5 stars except there were minor things like the crunchy bacon which was slightly and minor ordering stutters, but overall a great place for breakfast which is served all day or some great salads, deli sandwiches, subs or desserts. They even have Gyros on the menu.

I've been visiting this little deli for years and it never disappoints. Homemade, fresh sandwiches, soups and sides. A great little locally owned spot for breakfast and lunch. I cant get enough of their chicken salad sandwich on marbled toast, seems simple enough but they do simple right. Make sure to stop by and give them a try!

Pleasant, home-style deli offering breakfast and lunch. We went there for a quick bite after a business meeting before heading back to PHL airport and enjoyed their fresh, made-to-order sandwiches. Seemed like it was a popular place with the locals for it soon filled up shortly after noon. My two colleagues had their corn chowder (which they said was a little on the bland side) and their pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, respectively, which they said was quite good. I had their kale and bean chicken soup which was chock-full of kale, beans, and chicken - and very little broth. But it was hot and tasty IMO. Followed this with a chef salad and was pleased to see that it was comprised of crisp, fresh romaine lettuce and some green sprouts, sliced cherry tomatoes -- and no iceberg lettuce (so nutritionally useless!). Came garnished with hard-boiled egg, rolled ham and turkey cold cuts, and swiss and american cheese. Made me feel somewhat righteous and healthy - but it was a good salad!

dry sandwich with hard stale bread, ok might have gotten over it if it wasn't a 15.00 sandwich. This place has really gotten out of touch.

It was a turkey and scrambled egg sandwich with home fries, and a beef sausage scramble with home fries. The sandwiches were hot and the bread was soft and tasted so buttery good! However, my home fries had a vinegar-ish taste as if the the onions were spoiled so I didn't eat them but my companion did enjoy them so he ate them. Might of been just me? I had a large tea which was great. I loved that they put two tea bags. I update this review from last visit because my companion was very satisfied with his meal. The only negative comment he made was that there were only 3 small slices of beef sausage in his small sandwich.. As for the ambiance of this location it still looks shabby, needs a little makeover. We lucked out in finding a park spot right in front, as someone pulled out as we pulled up. What's more, the meter had 32 minutes left adequate time for us to eat in. When we left the meter maid was doing her rounds but we still had 6 minutes to spare :p

Festive Boards -- Joy & Team…read more Joy and the entire Festive Boards team added so much heart and care to our wedding day. From the very beginning, they treated us with genuine kindness and made us feel so supported throughout the whole planning process. On the day of the wedding, their coordination, warmth, and attention to detail were extraordinary. The food was incredible--not only delicious but clearly made with pride and creativity. Our guests are still talking about it. But beyond the food, it was the service that made the biggest impact. Joy's team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and they did it all with such a joyful and uplifting spirit. We couldn't be more grateful. Festive Boards helped make our wedding feel effortless, beautiful, and filled with love. We wholeheartedly recommend Joy and her team to anyone wanting a catering experience that is both exceptional and deeply caring.

They seemed like the full package -- food, dessert, bartenders, mixers, garnishes, and even a day-of/month-of coordinator who would help with vendors and décor. That service was a huge reason I chose them. Leading up to the wedding, communication and planning went smoothly. However, things began to unravel the day before. My coordinator, Taylor, was supposed to attend our rehearsal, which had been confirmed weeks in advance, but she never showed. Thankfully, my venue coordinator stepped in. Taylor apologized and was ready to help the next day, but unfortunately, many other issues followed. On the wedding day itself, the appetizers were served cold, the grazing table was disappointing (boxed crackers and Tostitos), and we ran out of mixers provided by the caterer. The bar didn't even have water available for guests when one overheated -- only lemonade. Servers were unprofessional at times, including one who rested a bussing tub on a guest's chair and spilled dishes and food. The buffet food was lukewarm at best. The Kona beef was dried out, and the quality overall reminded me of frozen dinners. Shockingly, one server dropped the serving spoon for the mac and cheese and continued serving guests with his gloved hand until a groomsman stopped him. Dessert service was equally mishandled -- only one of the two sheet cakes was cut and served, meaning guests who wanted vanilla never got any. The gluten-free and vegan cupcakes I ordered (with signage) were mixed up and served without any allergy notice after the sign was removed. I never signed the "satisfaction" form I was handed at the end of the night because so many responsibilities and expectations were not met -- and no one from The Festive Board has reached out since to follow up. I truly wish this had been a positive experience, but The Festive Board fell short in food quality, professionalism, and attention to detail. My wedding day was still wonderful thanks to our family, friends, and venue team, but I would not recommend this caterer based on how many things went wrong that could have been avoided.
