I asked Event Premiere for a loan of about $700 since I had no access to my credit cards or to an ATM. They came through immediately even though I had only used them that one time, they had no history with me. Someone came to my hotel the next morning with the cash in CUC which is the currency used by tourists in Cuba. It is a good thing to have someone like that that you can turn to in case something like that happens. If they hadn't come through I don't know what I would have done.

Our last day took us to the tobacco plantation in Vinales, a two hour trip outside of Havana. we were able to observe the start to finish production of the famed Cuban cigar. Veronique arranged for us to live in our own apartment in Old Havana, an absolute must see for anyone going to Cuba. A very unique trip indeed.
