I wish I had looked at Yelp before scheduling an appointment. These guys are getting ripped with one star reviews. They obviously just don't care because they continue to get one star reviews. I scheduled an appt at the 27th ave and Baseline location as a new patient because my doctor moved his practice too far from me to make it practical. The appt was for 10:20 and I was asked to come in at 10:05 to fill out paperwork. I was there at 9:45. After the paperwork and vitals I was lead to a room and not a word was spoken to me as the door shut behind me. I waited in the room for 1 hour without any interaction. BEWARE JESSICA A DETTRA, PA To explain, this appointment was last year, and I am just now willing to write a review after the awful experience that I had at this location with a specific PA. In early 2025, I had made an appointment at this location specifically to be able to see my established PCP, Rebecca Mukoko. I had seen her previously for about 2 years and had nothing but great appointments with her. She remains one of the best doctors I have had. The day of the appointment arrives, and I get a call from their scheduling department informing me that Rebecca had become unavailable, and if I wanted to still be seen, I would need to see a PA as an alternative. The appointment was somewhat urgent, as it was going to be an appointment reviewing my chart and requesting a referral to have genetic testing completed. I agreed to keep my appointment and continued my day. Upon arrival, I was greeted and taken back by a nurse practitioner. While being asked about the reason for my visit, I explained that I wanted to request a referral. The nurse asked who I would be seeing, and I said the nurse practitioner. She warned me that she would have rescheduled if she were me because the nurse practitioner on shift today was not very friendly and was not likely to give me the referral I was seeking. I immediately became anxious, as I was already going back to my appointment to see her. There was unfortunately not much I could do about continuing the appointment. I was taken back to the room to wait for her. As she entered, her face and demeanor instantly let me know that the nurse practitioner was correct in her observation that Jessica was not friendly. She looked frustrated before even shaking my hand. She asked me why I was there, and I explained the diagnosis I was seeking and that to receive that diagnosis officially, I required a referral and genetic testing. This is when her true colors showed themselves. She told me that I was lying, that I was too young to have that specific diagnosis. I stayed strong and explained further. She stated she would not give me the genetic testing referral. I knew she wouldn't listen to me, so I handed her the thick folder I had brought with prior testing and confirmation from other providers that I required a referral. She took the folder and told me to wait a few minutes while she reviewed the paperwork. As soon as she left the room, I started crying. I did not want to be there. I did not want the diagnosis. But I knew I needed to take the steps to remain healthy, and this doctor did not believe me. After 10 minutes, she returned to the room. She instantly apologized and explained that after reviewing the paperwork, she typed up an extensive and detailed referral to the geneticist to complete testing for the diagnosis I was seeking. A rush of relief, and also anger, went through my body. I began crying and explained to her that I was too young to be having the issues I had been having, and it was for that reason exactly that I was seeking the referral. She offered a hug to comfort me. I said yes, although I was still very angry with her. I left the appointment with the referral. 6 months later, following the genetic testing, I was diagnosed with the condition I had told Jessica that I had. 1 year later (today), I returned to My Dr Now with a different provider, Thomas Finch. He and the nurse practitioner were nothing short of amazing. I will continue going here, but will NEVER see Jessica Dettra again, and neither should you. read more

Don't schedule an appointment here. I've had two separate appointments scheduled with Franc Brodar MD that I've had to cancel because of this office's lack of punctuality. The first visit I waited 1.5 hours after my appointment time and still didn't get seen because it was "busy." I rescheduled for an earlier appointment because that's what the desk person recommended. Came in at 10AM for a 10:20 appointment. Not busy, waited until 11 and still hadn't been updated or seen. Terrible service and communication. Definitely won't be back. read more

Every 1 star review is so right on. DON'T DO IT.................... My relationship with My Doc Now started after I had a change in my insurance and having to travel abroad most of the year. It was a total convenience choice on my part. I still, to this day, have never met the Dr. I always request, now almost 2.5 years later, as mostly all appointments were routine, yearly blood work, each appointment appointment has been a video visit. From referrals written with wrong codes, lab testing with wrong codes, scripts not sent in, referrals to doctors offices 60+ miles away and appointments made with doctor's/PA's that I've never heard of, ALL in turn costing me co-pay's x 2 & rescheduling appointments at the Specialist offices. Apparently when I asked for a dermatologist referral for a toe to head annual appointment, they scheduled me with a CODE for a rare debilitating, highly contagious RASH. The PA walked in looking at me trying to see from afar this RASH. The PA continued and asked where the rash was.......... Sorry for the mix up but we can't see you today, you'll need to get another referral for a annual check. PS....I already paid the $40.00 specialist co-pay. Yes, new correct referral printed and new appointment made, and YES YES another co-pay due. From sending orders/scripts/and referrals to doctors/labs/pharmacy's not listed on my insurance coverage, costing me the cash price because of their incompetence, uneducated staff and even nurse's/doctor's take no responsibility/ownership for this. Just having had total hip replacement, which I found my surgeon on my own with a bit of help from google, ect... and instructed My Doc Now to send me a referral for Dr. Kaplan (Mako) which surprisingly, went smoothly. Prior to surgery, Dr. Kaplan's office sent My Doc Now Dr. a surgery release request, with the required steps needed for me to take, prior to surgery, (Eco/chest x-ray/blood work/urine test). Well, what a disaster. Went to My Doc Now at HUNT HWY/BELLA VISTA and they had me waiting in the lobby area for 49 minutes while walk ins were scene and left, this for an appointment scheduled 4 days earlier. Once again, I was scheduled for the appointment with the scheduler who, OOP'S, scheduled me with a walk in doctor instead of a appointment only doctor. Oh ya, they lost me urine specimen. Never got that. But did they get their money, ya bet cha. I can go on and on, especially with what got me here today. There was a test included in my blood work that returned a abnormal result of which my anesthesiologist wanted attention to the matter. Long story short and it's a long and stressful story, once clear for surgery we, my doctor from MY Doc Now and I scheduled a VIDEO VISIT appointment for this morning. When signing in I was scheduled with someone I've never heard of, from an office I've never been to or heard of. I'M DONE! WALK THE OTHER WAY... CHECK WITH YOUR INSURANCE DO SOME RESEARCH. I was in a car accident. Most of my symptoms developed after two days, so I went to the closest clinic, which was MyDrNow The check-in process was simple, if long. Once you have their app, it's easy. I had to file additional paperwork because it was a car accident issue, which asked more specific questions. I had been to MDN before, so the check-in process was more verification than anything else. I was called to the back in after 1/2 hour for my vitals. My Dr then arrived within 5 minutes and checked all of my injuries and then prescribed X-rays, pain meds and burn cream. Went to My Dr Now for an annual wellness exam. They put the wrong codes on the lab work and it took me calling and messaging almost everyday for 6 weeks to get the correct standard bloodwork lab codes put on the lab order. Now the bill has errors and was told to schedule a call with Medicare and them to straighten it out. I asked if they could just call Medicare because I did before making the appointment and was told it was covered. They refused and hung up. read more

My wife and I have been going to the nearest MyDrNow (MDN) for about a year. We like the provider. And seems professional and knowledgeable. That's the positive. MDN has multiple issues with communications. Very hard to get an answer from the provider. There are multiple problems with their on-line systems. Very difficult to navigate through. Missed appointments. Screw ups with billing. Misinformation from staff. If it were just the Provider we would stay. But all the other problems MDN has with administration... we're leaving. read more

Visited for urgent care on vacation. The MyDrNow website at the time clearly listed urgent care as one of their services. They billed our insurance as a primary care provider in spite of not even being available in our state. On calling them they lied to us and said they did not offer urgent care as a service, and will not bill our insurance that way. Thankfully, the internet has receipts. read more

I scheduled an appointment at Lake Pleasant pkwy for 5pm. 6:35 pm I left without anyone checking on me or updating how much longer I'd be in patient room #5. 2 hours of my life wasted. On the search for a PCP and was treated like I was insignificant. The PA was wearing a mask. Patient forms to complete had every racial group listed but white/caucasian and all the 167 genders. Went to the Tatum and Deer valley location and had a terrible experience. For this location being very new it's already extremely run down. To start, the assistant went to go get a weight on my 11 month old and the scale was broken then she went to get a temperature and THAT was broken then went to get a pulse OX reading and that was also NOT working! Once the NP came in she didn't even lay a finger on my child and basically said, "let's just do a broad-spectrum antibiotic to cover our bases" I said wait, can you look in his ears? Or look to see if his throat is red? Prior to me asking she didn't do ANY investigating as to why my son has had a fever for the past four days. What happened to listening to the heart and doing a full physical? Or even swabbing the throat to check for strep? I even expressed my concern for a possible UTI and she didn't even know how to place the bag on to catch the urine. When I peeled it off at home my son was in excruciating pain because she placed in on a very sensitive part of skin. She even said as she placed it that she "wasn't quite sure where to put it" the whole experience was very off-putting and I left feeling like we got absolutely no where. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially children as they seem extremely inexperienced but advertise that they do pediatric care. read more

I have been under the care of a nurse practitioner with my doctor now for probably almost a year now and at first she was great. But I had noticed that the triage nurse nor the doctor would never listen to my heart or look in my ears​unless I was there with a cough for example but they documented on my patient portal that they had done these exams and that there was nothing wrong. I did not like this because you shouldn't document that you examined something that you did not exam. Then yesterday she could not do an exam and is referring me to a a specialist immediately but documented on my patient portal that I told her I was in pain and not having any drainage and yet I had I told her more than once in person that I was having drainage and I was not in pain. I submitted a question whyon her patient portal and this morning she documented the fact that I don't need to see the specialist for some time and did not change her mistakes of my condition this is totally improper contact on her part read more

I had an appointment at 3:00 PM on December 19, 2024, at the MyDrNow office in San Tan Valley Office. I wrote HAD because I never saw the FNP. I arrived at around 2:30 PM to complete any necessary paperwork and to be respectful of their time. At approximately 3:20 PM (20 minutes late), I was taken in and my vital signs were obtained. By 3:23 PM, I was placed in Examination Room 6 to wait for my appointment, which was already 23 minutes late. By 3:55 PM, the FNP had not arrived, and NO ONE from the staff had come by to inform me of the reason for the delay. At 3:56 PM, I left the examination room and asked the two staff members present and asked if they were always tardy with their appointments. The nurse's assistant informed me that the FNP was with a patient who had just been released from the hospital. This indicated to me that the FNP was not coming to see me any time soon. Before I left, I expressed to the nurse's assistant that I had been waiting for 30 minutes in the room, and someone should have come in to inform me of the situation and perhaps ask if I minded seeing another staff member if one was available. Don't waste your time here. Since last week I've been trying to get my H.Pylori infection medications sent to pharmacy from Jessica Dettra, PA-C but she never returns my messages or calls. I've called several times and all they keep telling me is that they'll let her know but she never responds. So today they said "make another appointment if you want to talk to her". She barked about the 'rooms being full in the back'. So I asked to speak with a professional and she continued to bark excuses. By the time my relentless attempts to get her to consider her composure and rant was in clear view of a trainee and the other patients and family was over I was glad that I didnt give her any of my fathers information or mine.
