Another lying nail salon. I just don't understand the purpose of lying and telling the REAL price towards the end of the service. If a fill-in with Gel Acrylic is $25 and for the GEL POLISH is an extra $10 SAY THAT! Stop Lying! I asked for the price of the entire "procedure"..."oh yeah it's $25 for the fill-in and $3 for the cut down" (I wanted my nails underneath trimmed) okay cool! So you pass me two color palates without mentioning that one of them was the gel palate for the extra $10. This place is clean. My toes came out pretty nice. Only thing I didn't like was the customer service. The older looking guy that did my feet was rude and he just didn't seem like he enjoyed doing his job. I asked for a Deluxe Pedicure that comes with a massage, which I barely got. I went last weekend. Mother's Day weekend. The wait was very long. I think it was because of the holiday but the technician was very detailed and professional; although I could see that she was tired. She said she had been working all day. No break. It's a quaint shop. Courteous staff; but as I went to the restroom before I left I noticed that there is a lot of house keeping that needs to be done. Sanitation and sterilization is a must! I saw a small bug crawl across the floor too. It could have come from a customer; but I feel nail shops need to not focus so much on servicing so many customers and take a day off to clean your establishment !! Just like your home. Invest back in your business. Refresh your nail colors. Wipe the walls down. Purchase new hand towels for pedicures. Add mood music. Mop the floors. The little things customers notice and it makes a big difference on where we spend our money. read more

First , I went to this salon for several months. At first , it was very good. But all it takes is ONE bad service day !! This salon has issues with professionalism. Its mainly the female owner of the shop. She is rude and actually mean. I asked a question and she actually moved me to the end of the line and gave me a longer wait because of it ! I have no idea why this place has negative reviews. I just went and had a deluxe pedicure with Winnie.. it was amazing. I can't wait to go back in 2 weeks and have it done all over again! I also had a gel manicure done by Kerri, also amazing! She always does an amazing job on gel manis. Owners are always very nice and professional. I came in at 5pm on a Friday for a fill in. The young technician, Kim was fantastic and did her job very well. I was fairly pleased with my visit up until I was asked to pay. The manager asked for $5 extra because I asked for an almond/stiletto nail shape. What?! I've never heard of that. She tried to tell me it was because it took longer for them to shape it, but I know that's BS. I don't appreciate being charged extra for something after they've already completed the job. If that shape truly is extra, you need to tell the customer beforehand. The manager was incredibly disrespectful, defensive, and rude. Although Kim did a great job, I will not be bringing my business back to this establishment. read more

I love this place but I go to relax and enjoy my downtime. To have the owners kid running and screaming and crying isn't an enjoyable experience. They sat me in the pedicure chair and didn't even offer to turn chair on as I waited for the next available tech. Staff is very nice and the owners. If this place thinks it's a spa, they are wrong. I waited 20 minutes to be asked to sit at a table, then asked to move. My nail tech said all of two words to me while talking to everyone else in a foreign language. There's a sign above the nail polish stating if you break one of their ancient bottles, you'll be paying for it. There's some decrepit lotions in a corner cabinet and a spray tan booth for sale. Yet, they were busy. My nails turned out fine ($15 for a fill) but I won't be back. read more

I came In and asked the guy nail technician if he was able to do this design I saw on Pinterest he told me yes and the design required clean thin lines and he completely ruined it like not even close to what I asked for "Finished" my nails and got up went to the back and didn't come back out as the pedicurist began my feet she was really friendly and nice I believe her nail is Christina and the guys name is Dee. The girl went on to ask me if I like my nails I told her actually no I don't and Athena other female owner came out to fix and just painted Gel nails which was fine because at this point I was OVER it.... the whole experience was unpleasant with DEE and he really has a disgusting vibe as if he's angry or hates his job. I came to this salon on Wednesday (4 days ago) and after spending 2 hours there between waiting and my actual manicure, it is Sunday and I couldn't be more disappointed. I got an SNS manicure with tip extensions like I have been for years, last night I go to wash my hands after making dinner and 3 of my nails just fell off. Later that night I go to move something at my house 3 more fall off-just fall off as if they were barely hanging on anyways. So this morning I wake up and had to pull of the rest as most of nails are off anyways. $45 dollars for a manicure that last 3 days...to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. I've been going here since I live in the Highland Creek neighborhood and I've never had a bad experience! Everyone is always very professional and my nails are always fabulous! A gift card my husband purchased there (almost $200) had to be used within a specified time. I was 20 or so days outside of the time frame and the owner wouldn't let me use the remaining balance ($67) to pay for a $15 fill in. Losing a customer over $15? Poor business judgment. And to think, I didn't complain the time one of her employees left a nasty cut on my toe during a pedi! (Nor did I receive a discount) Disappointing. I won't be back. read more

I have been getting nails for 12+ years and My Day Spa is by far the worst salon I have ever been to. I was a regular for 5-6 months due to working close by, however my last visit I was cut not once but twice. She was shaving my nails done with the machine and it "slipped" (so she said) and cut the entire side of my finger wide open causing blood to go everywhere. I was offered peroxide and a bandaid, that did not even cover my cut. I was then handed off to another employee who did a good job, besides the fact he sliced under my nail with his nail file. When I went to pay, I was still bleeding in both places and I asked if there would be a charge, she said "are you serious?" I said, I am still bleeding and I was cut twice and only offered a band-aid that the blood had seeped through. I was told, that I would not be given any discount and to pay the full amount. There was a large crowd in and I did not want to cause I scene so I paid and left quietly. I have since called twice to speak with the manager and sent numerous messages on their FB page with no response. I plan on calling the Health Beuer as my finger is now pussing and inflamed. read more

I came here with a friend and got the deluxe pedicure and the gel manicure. My friend was started first, even though it was not very busy and other technicians were available. I sat in the pedicure tub soaking for a good 20 minutes before anyone came over. The lady did the usual trim and put a minty scrub on my legs and feet, put them in the water, threw her used gloves on the foot rest and walked away to give someone an eyebrow wax. I then sat there for another 20 minutes while my legs were cold and tingly from the scrub , and when she finally came back she barely washed the scrub off of my legs and began to put another scrub on that was warm. She started to exfoliate the bottom of my feet with a CHEESE GRATER (which the other technician admitted that's what it was)!!!!! She then cut her finger on it and tried to keep going while blood was coming out of it. She eventually stopped and returned with a bandaid on. She finished the service finally and barely gave me a massage(that is included with the deluxe pedicure). My friends technician was very nice and rubbed on her forever. To top it off, for some unknown reason we were both charged $5 extra! The deluxe is $35 and the gel mani is $20... why was is $60???! Will NEVER go here again! read more

I just paid $40 to be argued with and insulted. I went on a Sunday evening and it took 1 hour 45 minutes for a dip manicure (which is basically a glorified polish change! It's extra if you want them to do your cuticles.) I told them I got the same manicure for cheaper down the street and they proceeded to tell me that "that nail salon doesn't pay rent, we have to pay rent." My overhead isn't my problem. They also talked about how terrible my nails looked. I told them I didn't like the color and they didn't try to fix it. It's partially due to the fact that they only did 1 coat when it should've been 2 or 3. The man that was doing my nails had just come in from smoking the cigarette that he had carried and showed the entire nail salon and I'm pretty certain he didn't wash his hands and his nails were WAY overgrown and kept scratching me. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I will continue to take my business to the better salon down the street and will not ever return to this establishment. read more

For the prices they charge this is not a well run business. The room for the massages is so tiny the massage person barely had enough room to work. The TV was blaring and children were running around making loud noises. Definitely not the environment for a massage. Carrie, the owner spent most of her time arguing with a customer who was not satisfied and Carrie and her husband were very rude to the person who was asking for a refund of some sort because of poor service. I also noted while she was out of the room that a lot of her products are out dated. Any one who would spend their hard earned money here is a fool. Worst experience I have ever had! We went into to get pedicures and when the lady started she started to make fun of the way one of my toes was. I asked her to make sure to get the ingrown nail out because it was starting to hurt she refused to do it. On my other foot she dug into the side so far that it now has a cut and is starting to get infected. I would never to recommend going here. Absolutely horrible service read more
